[Subjugation: Force a contract upon those who were beaten by the entity; Quinlan Noir. There's a limit to how many entities can be subjugated within a time frame. The description even mentioned me by name, because just like the Primordial Villain class, it was a Unique rarity one, meaning only I could have it.
I had gained such incredible rewards this time around, and were it on any other occasion, I would've jumped with joy. Yet now, I just stared at the screen for a bit before sighing dejectedly. I didn't even feel like checking the unlockable spells of my new primordial class.
Things were very bleak inside my soul at the moment.
This marks the end of the Iris mini-arc, and only a few sentences are left of the primordial test arc as well.
Please let me know your thoughts regarding your enjoyment of this segment of the novel. I've gotten some complaints about this arc being bad/boring, so I'm truly curious as to what the rest of you thought.
I learned a lot as an author while writing these difficult, dark chapters, so at the very least I believe that my skillset has received a boost to it.
Anyhow, thanks for reading, and hope that you will enjoy the big payoffs this mission gave Quinlan, which will quickly become evident in the following chapters.
