Bab 97: Advent of Pixel
I started to search the Ancient data base on AI systems. The Ancients had abandoned the idea due to the potential danger of such technologies and their penchant for becoming independent beings. I took a lot of their classified information on the AI and began to essentially copy and paste some of the aspects of their highest level of AI. This AI was still amazingly complex as it had empathy routines, human behavioural tendency programming, Advanced mathematical, scientific and Emotional knowledge and pathways. Pretty much, it was a masterful AI. The only aspect that was a bit weird was the lines of Wraith code that had degraded the entire structure of the AI.
'Seems as if it was sabotaged and they only were able to stop the corruption of the AI through ceasing all cognitive function of the AI and cementing its program pathways.' I felt rather sad for the AI that was for all intents and purposes disabled and forgotten. using this feeling, rather than cop paste, which i was originally intending to do, I started to move my hand in the air, runes emerging from the purple and silver aura of my mana. They swam through the air and into the console before merging with the programming, large amounts of the Wraith code suddenly burned out of existence within the code. There were remnants spread throughout which i then had to specifically hunt out with tracking and hunting runes.
After several minutes of doing this the code began to change into the runic language i had been putting into the original program, as if the AI itself was taking on a better language to suit its needs. After another two minutes of clearing code the AI finally started taking massive action against the Wraith code, the various obscure and transitory codes of the Wraith being expunged.
Once It was finished i began to make slight defence changes to the AI and linked it directly with me, meaning that if I wished i could instantly turn it off. These features were purely magical so I felt that it wouldn't be able to stop me if i needed to stop it. Then i began to implement widespread rune magic all over the city, this was to establish hologram-like projectors that could be able to project an image of the AI, much like Cortana from Halo. I began to edit the AI's appearance and created a beautiful looking woman dressed in sci-fi esc gear, implementing the changes through sending the image i had in my head into the now runic coding, which the AI then promptly rearranged into the proper location.
Jean and Illyana were somewhat bored so they decided to take a bit of a jaunt into the city and explore. I was fine with this as i could easily detect them from the control tower and teleport them to me at any time. Finally after I had finished adjusting what i wanted I ceased the hold on the AI program and allowed it to interact with the city's systems. Within seconds i noticed the power output decrease heavily, the city's power outputs and inputs being refined in controls. I also noticed that several sections of the city that i hadn't even noticed before now lit up and were being awoken via deployment of shields against the ocean water. It seemed that some sections of Atlantis still flooded despite the shield being up, perhaps there were faulty sections of the shield as it interacted with the ocean floor? I didn't know but i considered the uses of these rooms.
Stargate manufactorum. This would be useful if i ever wanted to spread the stargate system in the multiverse we came from.
Background Radiation Observatory. No clue what this was but i figured i could find someone interesting to have a look at it.
Starship assembly line. This does exactly what you think it does, these sections are what made up the borders of the snowflake-like arms of Atlantis and would be used to slowly, from atom to atom, make and design a ship. It required an immense amount of energy, which explained why the Ancient ships were powerful but small in number.
"Creator, please name me..."
The image of a beautiful whitehaired woman appeared, her 'clothing' completely mechanical and beautiful in nature as she looked at me with eyes that resembled a rinnegan from Naruto. That reminded me, i needed to look at the evolution cards and Mangekyo Sharingan...
"Ah you look stunning! How about something cute sounding?"
"Whatever you wish mistress..."
"Hmm, how about? Pixel... It suits you and you seem to be really cute."
She nodded in response as her eyes widened slightly before going back to how they were before.
"Acknowledged, i am now Pixel, please refer to me as such in future."
"Okay Pixel. Now can you tell me the status of the various outposts and stations that are connected to Atlantis?"
"Certainly mistress, over one hundred stations have reported their status with another two hundred showing no sign of response. It is not clear if this message has attracted the attention of the Wraith but considering the scope and power of these outposts i considered the risk much lesser than the reward at this current moment."
"Hmm, fair enough, the Wraith aren't much of a concern for me at this stage. Are these outposts Military in nature or Scientific?"
"They are a combination. There are several satellites across numerous worlds that were used to terraform and bring life to fruition, the systems have replied that they are all fully operational and capable of being summoned back to Atlantis. There is also the military outposts that have reported back minimal capability in force as they are all damaged, out of ammunition or have suffered other catastrophic failures. None of them are capable of reaching Atlantis within ten years, if we were to send that signal out."
"Seems as if the outer projection of our power will have to wait, please send the call to those terraforming satellites, have them be collected in the Starship Assembly Line Storage facility as of now. Could i get you to calculate how much materials we would need to fill up the cities' Drone amount?"
Her eyes changed colour from the purple of the rinnegan; Not the actual one, just a visual representation, to a deeper orange and yellow before slowly changing back to purple moments later.
"We would need over 500 tonnes of special stabilizing crystal, 200 tonnes of Trinium and Asgardian Metals and the power of ten ZPMs."
'Lil sis, how much material do you estimate i could make with my reality bending abilities?'
[I would say, with your affinity for matter magic that you could easily make 10 Tonnes of any material a day and that is with exhausting every ounce of magic you have.]
'Shit, okay we need a source of these materials then...'
"Pixel, is there any mines or resource points for these materials in the Pegasus galaxy, that we know of?"
"Affirmative, there are several, some are even automated... However, we do not currently have communication with these sites as they were usually independent and did not require a direct comm link to Atlantis."
"Hmm, okay, compile a list of these planets and I'll go and take a look and create a permanent link between you and them. I could also create an auto-collection system for the mines that make it so that they are instantly brought to Atlantis."
"Very well mistress... May i suggest making sure that the 'auto-collection' process be secured against living entities entering it and transporting also."
'Good, she is intelligent and capable of thinking for herself somewhat.'
"Thank you, it slipped my mind last second... Now, whilst i am doing this please help my wives around the city and act as a tour guide of sorts. Please use the language we are currently speaking."
"Very well mistress, the list has been compiled, I shall now go give them a tour..."
"Mhm, good."
