Bab 101: Ch. 98 - Betrayal and Deception

[Flashback, Tigress's PoV]

Everything was just doing fine, I was eating while Anna was narrating her fantasy stories when the ceiling of the hall suddenly exploded and flooded us with large debris, killing off several people.

Everything happened quickly as each and everyone in the hall panicked and started running off, some even daring to leave their children and relatives just to save their skin.

My face grimaced just by thinking about it.

Anyways, thanks to my presence in the scene, me and Anna managed to get away while Shrek and Fiona handled themselves just fine. And that's when I saw Jin flying towards the castle.

After waving at Jin, who waved back at me. I saw that he entered back into the castle. Probably gonna do something related to the attack, so I resumed my pace and catches up to Anna, who has already ran quite a distance away from me.

While I was going to catch up to her, I noticed that the people on the front seemed to have come to an abrupt stop.

"What's going on?" I hear Shrek speak in confusion.

Using my sharp eyes, that's when I saw that in the front was a proper line up of silver knights that looks similar to the Knights in Arendelle except for having a different flag on their armor.

"What the hell are you all doing!? Get out of my way this instant or you shall face the consequences!" A woman with a regal gown stepped forward and angrily yelled at the knights who were blocking their way.

"No can do, your highness." Suddenly, another silver knight with a different design of armor came forward while riding in his horse.

"What do you mean? Who do you serve? What Kingdom do you serve?" The woman in a regal gown asked three questions one by one.

Irritated, the silver knight in a horse unsheathed his long sword and pointed it at the woman with a regal gown.

"Too many questions! All you should know is that I am the General Knight of the Thalassar Kingdom!" The General Knight loudly declared.

"Thalassar Kingdom? Aren't you part of the Alliance?! What is the meaning of this?!" A middle aged man stepped forward and angrily shouted.

Meanwhile, the knights of the Arendelle Kingdom noticed the commotion and quickly approached the scene, protecting the people from the Thalassar Knights behind them. Since the Arendelle Kingdom became an open Kingdom, they never truly cared about who entered the Kingdom as they believed that the peace that their past ancestors achieved is eternal which means it is easy to enter the Kingdom through the several entrances that Arendelle has, so they never expected this kind of situation to appear inside their walls.

"Round them up!" The Thalassar General Knight quickly ordered his men and surrounded the large crowd of royalties and staff, including Tigress and Anna.

With Thalassar Knight's growing numbers, they were slowly being surrounded, much to everyone's fear.

"Tigress, what's going on? I'm scared." Anna shivered in fear and hid behind Tigress while looking at the General Knight with a scared look on her face.

"Everything will be fine. Just stick close to me and never leave my sight." Tigress assured her and pushed her behind her. Her eyes squint towards the Thalassar Knights, especially at their General Knight. From the earlier interaction and conversation, she could already deduce what is truly happening here.

If what she assumes is true then the Thalassar Kingdom's King must've planned this right exactly during the Solstice Summit in which all the Kings in the alliance would attend. Which must also be the reason why she can't find an ounce of the Kings's presence right now.

Seeing that the Thalassar Knights were surrounding them, the Arendelle Knights fearlessly fought back with relentless vigor and unyielding will. This is their land and they serve the King of Arendelle. It's normal for them to fight their enemies.

"It's useless." The Knight General smirked in arrogance. He is confident in his troops especially since he had the advantage in numbers and formation.

However, his arrogance didn't last long when an orange haired woman suddenly flew in the air and landed in the middle of their formation, causing a shift in the troop's formation and balance.

*Boom!*

"Ahhhh!"

Surprised by the sudden arrival of Tigress, their formation was disrupted, causing the tables between the Arendelle and Thalassar Knights to be flipped and put into balance.

"Who is that?" The General Knight pulled the reins of his horse, stepping back from the battlefield in fear of being accidentally knocked off by the small flying debrises or pebbles.

"It seems to be a woman, General." A lanky knight by his side reported in a hurry.

"A mere woman? She should've stayed at home and pleased a man. Take her down!" The General Knight maintained his arrogance and even insulted Tigress just for being a woman. In this current era, women are still looked down upon by the men for they believe that only men are destined for greatness due to their capability and greater strengths than women.

However, that would be his last mistake as his ranks of knights started flying one by one as Tigress kept delivering a flurry of kicks and punches around her, making a distance between her and the knights. With this distance, Tigress managed to swiftly avoid their attacks and strike back at them with ease.

'This is just a warm up at best.' Tigress shook her head in disappointment when she saw the scared looks on her enemy's faces.

"Focus on the royals! We can't defeat her but she surely can't protect everyone." The General Knight loudly ordered, making Tigress panic slightly, although she doesn't care about protecting the royalties since she doesn't have any slight connections to them especially after seeing and hearing their arrogance back in the hall, but she left Anna among the crowd and she can't have her getting involved in the fight.

However, Tigress's worries turned null when an icy blast suddenly blasted the Thalassar Knights away from the crowd, putting them to safety while at the same time, building a wall that separates them from each other. Meaning, the Thalassar Knights won't be able to touch the royalties and civilians thanks to the ice wall she built.

Meanwhile, Tigress sighed in relief though at the same time, she was worried at Elsa revealing her powers to the public, especially in such a situation like this. She knows how much humans tend to fear something they cannot control.

"Run to the back gates! Half of you all will come with them!" Elsa shouted at the crowd who froze in shock, waking them up from their stupor while turning to look at the Arendelle Knights and gave order.

"Do as Princess Elsa says! You boys, come with me!" A dark skinned knight was the first one to respond and quickly relayed the order to his fellow knights.

"Understood!" Soon, half of the knights left the battlefield so they could guide the defenseless crowd to the back gates.

Meanwhile, Elsa filled in their position and used her icy powers to create tens of knights made of her own ice magic.

"A-an evil sorceress! Kill her!" Although he heard the rumors about Elsa having magical powers, he only waved it off with an excuse that people are only spreading it to give the Arendelle Princess a bad name. Though he didn't expect it to be true!

Expecting that she would meet retaliation, Elsa commands the ice knights to intercept the Thalassar Knights and incapacitate them.

Unfortunately for the Thalassar Knights, the Icy knights were made of durable ice magic, which means that they're more durable than them. Though the ice knights also have their own disadvantage and that is their lack of numbers and their swords aren't as sharp as theirs, probably due to the fact that Elsa's powers only grow as she ages. So, her ice powers aren't that much capable yet when it comes to fully replicating things or objects.

Though, their ice swords are just exactly what Elsa needed as she doesn't want to kill them, only incapacitate, so the ice sword is more like a blunt weapon instead, which makes it easier to take the Thalassar Knights by smashing the hard ice swords in their heads.

*Bam!* x10

One by one, every Thalassar Knights that tries to approach Elsa were met with an icy smack on their heads.

"This is impossible!" The General Knight of her Thalassar Kingdom gritted his teeth in both anger and fear. If only he believed in those silly rumors, then perhaps he could've prepared or at least made an emergency plan in case something goes wrong.

His King merely told him to scare off Arendelle's citizens and the guests in the Solstice Summit before capturing them to ensure that the plan goes smoothly.

Unfortunately, his information was not only wrong but also lacking as there's also the orange haired woman who is decimating his troops as time goes on. In fact, he even saw two knights flying so high that it went somewhere in the King's Castle.

"A hostage. We need a hostage." The General Knight muttered to himself before looking around for a hostage and that's when he saw a brown haired girl running back towards the castle with worry on her face.

'Gotcha!' Smiling evilly, the General Knight dismounted his horse and started sneaking towards the unsuspecting brown haired girl.

Meanwhile, Anna got worried for her parents since the last time she remembered were the two of them joining along the meeting of the Kings.

Though she wished that her mother stayed by her side instead.

'Mama Papa, please be okay!' Anna prayed to whoever God she could remember, she even prayed on the God of Chocolates that she used to pray to back then for fun, not knowing that a vile and evil man was walking towards her.

Bab 102: Ch. 99 - There's an impostor among us!

Back in the meeting room, Iduna was glaring at a certain man in the room, specifically the King of Thalassar Kingdom, Morn.

Earlier after Agnarr left with the bald man, Morn suddenly stood up and much to everyone's shock, the bandits just acted normally and even nodded at Morn with respect before eventually revealing that Morn was actually behind all of this.

"You traitor." Iduna venomously spat out her words with contempt.

"I am her doing us all a favour. Iduna, this alliance will bring us nowhere. We need war to advance, we can't live forever under the banner of peace. Peace brings us nothing but only makes us soft. We need violence in this world." The King of Thalassar Kingdom stated with certainty and a hint of superiority in his voice.

"I just want to go back to my Kingdom." Fiona's father, Harold sank in his chair and decrepitly muttered his words.

"Your Kingdom? What Kingdom? As a matter of fact, I have been planning all this for 20 years! From the moment the Alliance was built." Morn responded much to Harold and every King's uneasiness.

"I have stationed all my knights in all of your Kingdoms. I know what you're thinking...." Morn then placed his hands behind his back before pacing back and forth around the room.

"That this is impossible or something and that I can't do this alone. You're right. It is indeed impossible if it wasn't for the help of a certain someone. Obviously, I wouldn't disclose such information but let's refer to him as my guardian angel...." Morn continued while everyone's eyes were tracing his figure.

"...In return for helping him find something and someone. He'll give me power that would make me realize my plans. Obviously, I didn't believe me at first but after he showed me his might? I realized that he has the power to change this world, to me he is a god!" Morn raised his hands and clasped them against each other, seemingly as if he was praying to the gods.

"And that trumpet earlier? Pfft, it's a fake obviously. He would be back here any minute now and with the flower that my guardian angel asked of me." Morn finished and with that, everyone snapped out of their stupor and realized that they were actually submerged in listening to Morn's story! They're like children that are listening to their bedtime story!

"You said earlier that this 'Guardian Angel' asked you to find something which I presume is the flower? Then who is this someone?" Out of everyone in the room, only Iduna managed to listen carefully to every word that Morn said earlier and noticed that something was amissed so she asked.

"Oh, you're sharp Queen Iduna, I commend you for that. Yes, you are right the flower isn't as important as this 'someone' that he is looking for. He only told me that this 'someone' is a devil. That's all he told me. It would be hard for me to find this devil if it wasn't for the clues and rumors that I got from my informants." Morn stopped in his tracks and clapped his hands for Iduna, complimenting him which just made Iduna scowl in return.

"And who do you suspect of being the devil, Morn? Hopefully, it's you, after all you're the only devil I see here in this room." Iduna felt like she knows who this devil that Morn is talking about, so she asked Morn, though not right insulting him after.

"You've got some nice jokes there, Queen Iduna." However, Morn could only see himself as having the upper hand right now, so he doesn't care about the petty insult from Iduna and simply continued without much hassle.

"The Flame Predator, Jin. Thanks to his previous feat of taking down an entire Kingdom by himself led me into suspecting him in being the Devil that my 'Guardian Angel' is asking me to look out for." Morn then suddenly dropped the bomb, though only Iduna was surprised the most since out of everyone in the room who only knew the Flame Predator from the rumors, she's the only one who knows the Flame Predator personally.

"Flame Predator? Isn't he just a myth?" A King exclaimed in question while the other Kings, Harold included, nodded their heads in agreement.

"A myth? Oh, he is much more than just a myth. He is real, very real and he is the devil. The vile creature that goes against everything! Don't you all agree with me, fellow Kings?" Morn then turned his attention to the rest of them who either nodded their heads in agreement or out of fear of him.

"Hehehe..." Morn chuckled creepily before turning his head to Iduna.

"Queen Iduna. From the information I received, you actually not only took the devil under your wings but even bethrothed him on one of your daughters, Princess Elsa?! How outrageous, a beauty like her should be suited to someone like me." Morn then exaggeratedly praised himself while at the same time, Iduna felt like puking at Morn's remark. Elsa is suited for him? Iduna frowned in disgust as Morn is everything except a handsome man. He is so old that Iduna even wonders if he could still get an erection.

"You wish." Iduna glared at Morn.

"Oh dear. I was already expecting this. But don't worry, once I get my hands on the location of this devil. Elsa will be mine, along with you and you and you and all of your Kingdoms!" Morn grinned like a madman while pointing his index finger at the Kings one by one. With each King flinching when the index finger is pointed at them.

"So much ambition for a dead man!" Suddenly, Iduna heard her husband's voice not far from them.

"What?" Surprised, everyone turned their heads on the source of the voice and found Agnarr throwing a long sword towards his brother, Frederic.

"Brother catch!" Agnarr yelled at the same time.

As soon as Frederic saw the sword and heard his name being called, he didn't hesitate to stand up and catch the flying sword by the handle before smacking its butt on the surprised bandit by his side.

Meanwhile, Agnarr was already running towards the nearest bandit he saw and slashed his own sword towards him.

*Splash!*

"Gaackkhh!"

Before coming here, Agnarr firstly ran towards the treasury room where he kept his father's sword, which was also the very sharpest sword there is despite its age.

"Take them down!" Seeing that two of the bandits are down in one go, Morn quickly pointed and ordered them.

Meanwhile, Agnarr and Frederic got closer and pushed their backs against each other, while intently watching their enemy movements.

"Just like back then eh?" Agnarr chuckled and said to Frederic.

"Hahaha, yeah I remembered when we planned on ways to defeat General Bod. Until this day, we still can't defeat him." Frederic replied with an oldly chuckle.

"That's because he died before we hit puberty." Agnarr said in return before they both stepped forward and struck their enemies.

*Clang!* x2

While the meeting room had its own chaos, the battlefield outside was getting tense and heat up as more and more knights from Thalassar kept appearing.

"How the hell did Thalassar manage to get this much knights?"

"Most of them aren't knights, I could see from the looks on their faces that they're mercenaries instead of a knight." A knight captain of Arendelle critically observed and expressed his opinion.

"We must group together and push forwa-!" The knight captain was about to continue when everyone in the battlefield suddenly heard a little girl's scream followed by the Thalassar General Knight's declaration.

"Aaaaaahhh!"

"Stop this instant or this little girl gets it!"

"Princess Anna!" Seeing the familiar girl on the Thalassar General Knight's arms, the Arendelle Knights exclaimed and shouted in both surprise and fear.

"Anna!" Elsa also saw the commotion and saw her own sister being held hostage by the Genera Knight of Thalassar Kingdom.

"Princess Anna?" The General Knight was confused until he got a good look on Anna's face before grinning to himself.

"Hahaha! Just my luck! Now, all of you Arendelle, including you Princess Elsa and that orange haired chick. Stop resisting or else your Princess Anna gets it!" The General Knight threatened loudly as the Arendelle Knights looked at one another before eventually sighing in defeat and started dropping their swords on the ground.

"That's it! Gahahaha!" The General Knight was at bliss, he felt like he held the power over the entire Arendelle Kingdom! All because of the little brown haired Princess that he's holding right now

Meanwhile, Tigress glared at the General Knight as her feet were slowly glowing in a golden hue. She was ready to use her full force to instantly arrive in front of the General Knight and incapacitate him before saving Anna.

However, just as Tigress was about to go and do as she plans, someone suddenly beats her to it.

"Now you all kneel before me, especially you Princess Els-!?" The General Knight was suddenly interrupted when he noticed that a shadow was looming over him. He was about to turn his head in the sky but it was too late as Jin in his Devil form grabbed him by the shoulder before throwing him up far in the air. His throw was so strong that it caused sonic booms in the sky. Jin doesn't know if he's still alive after that and even if he is, he's probably somewhere in the space by now.

"Ahhhh!" However, Anna was also thrown in the sky.
