Bab 121: Scenario 10

Chaos.

Utter chaos broke out in Polaris. No, every other settlement was likely facing the same situation.

Dead bodies littered the ground like trash thrown away. The ones that survived ran around in tears, looking for the ones that they knew.

Some found their family and friends, now departed, and broke out in tears. But the people in a rush ignored them all.

A few children were walking around, completely lost. One child even grabbed their mother and cried desperately.

All of their words, all of their voices, all of it merged into a single, painful beep.

I saw many familiar faces, but they all blurred away. My eyes only looked for two people.

And then, a voice finally reached my ears.

"Vincent!"

Alice screamed my name and charged right into me. Her frail, trembling arms wrapped around my back.

I quickly pulled her chin up and observed her.

"Are you ok? Are you hurt?"
