Bab 77: Scarring Reconnaissance

Relafan, Lewis, and I sat together in the room that had truly become Lewis' office now.

In front of us was a sobbing child. His brown hair was muddled with dust and grime while snot dripped from his nose. He looked about the same age as Ramus and Chloe.

Physically, he wasn't that far apart from us. Though both Relafan and I had lived for five years while aging only one. In the end, it was better to consider us 22 instead of 18.

That said…

I checked the magazine loaded in my gun as the kid in front continued sobbing.

"Um… Vincent…" Lewis tried to keep my gun down as Relafan took over the scene in a panic.

"A-alright, did you say your name was Jimmy?" Relafan asked. "And you saw the skeletons?"

Jimmy nodded. Relafan walked over to him and handed him some tissues while patting his back.

The kid calmed down not long after. Still sniffling, he started his story.
