Bab 103: 2nd attack, domain magic
the writings on the wall says:
the heir has returned to Hogwarts , be prepared to witness a massacre , those deemed unworthy will fall and the glory of Salazar will rise once again.
Alex has a face full of black lines, this guy voldemort even didn't know how to write some lines to scare a bunch of kids , how can he be some kind of dark lord who shook the world a few years ago.
Dumbledore , McGonagall , Snape and Lockhart arrived to the scene and quickly dispersed students, Alex stayed as he want to know what are they talking about and to know who is the victim, voldemort didn't enter the chamber but hurt someone with a curse to intimidate the school that is sure from the incident.
Dumbledore at this moment said," it seems that Hogwarts is no longer safe , the culprit masked himself in the students , we can't find him no matter how much we search".
Lockhart boasted," if only I should've been there when Ms. Tracey davis was attacked from the dark magic, I know the counter curse exactly to overthrow that spell." Alex is shocked and cursed himself for not finding voldemort, Ginny is out of option as he didn't feel anything ominous from her, somehow voldemort escaped his reach.
everybody looked at him like," is this guy doesn't have brain cells", Snape is glaring at him with a murdurous look and Dumbledore said," bring little Alex here, he is the only who can cure her or maybe no need as he is eavesdropping on us, isn't it right,Alex?". the professors are confused and looked around.
Alex sighed and took of his invisibility spell then said," well professor, I can heal her, but we have to find the culprit to avoid something like this again". the professors are dumbfounded by the sudden appearance of Alex, they couldn't even detect him even Snape who is sensitive to magic.
Dumbledore sighed and said," I don't think it's really possible Alex, as the culprit is one of the students or maybe he is also a victim to a spell that controlled him".
Alex didn't say anything, he couldn't find the one even with his magic sense , it's like voldemort knew someone will watch and erased his presence and trace somehow.
the professors and Alex goes to the infirmary to see unconscious Tracey Davis who is stained in blood and Daphne crying beside her, Daphne as she saw Alex rushed towards him and asked," Alex please save her, I don't want to lose my best friend , you can heal wounds caused by dark arts right?, please her". seeing Daphne who is full of tears he felt guilty , he couldn't even find the culprit and is angry at the helplessness of this situation.
he comforted her and goes towards Tracey whose breath is already weak and madam Pomfrey who is trying her best to heal but failed. Alex took out his wand and point towards Tracey which alarmed Pomfrey but the professors told her it's okay and he is here to heal her, madam Pomfrey didn't believe their words.
Alex cast dispel on Tracey and healed her wounds using druid and elvish spells without a chant, madam Pomfrey is dumbfounded at this , while Tracey pulse got stronger and the black magic is smoking out of her body, the professors trapped it in a shell like shield.
Alex is very angry at voldemort now, he swore he will torture him before ending his life.
he needs to develop the domain magic more to completely merge with this castle to detect the horcrux and then it will be easy, he decided he will work on that from now. domain magic is very complex than transfiguration and runes.
after comforting Daphne, he went to his room and immediately asked for an isolated room, then he began to integrate his domain magic, it's not easy as it's unstable but he tried to control it and enter the conscious of Hogwarts in a forced way, but there is a force stopping him from merging , even though he is the heir he doesn't know why the castle is rejecting him or someone is intentionally preventing him from using it.
but he poured all his magic into the wall to break it and merged with the castle consciousness, he is having a massive headache due to the information that is flowing inside his brain along with exhausting his magic.
