Bab 109: Hulk Training 2
The fight continued for hours, Hulk reached a strength of 10,000 tons and a punch from Hulk in this state broke several bones of Jack, who managed to regenerate, but saw that it was useless to see his regeneration anymore.
Jack used the Raiton Chakura Mōdo and this time he could finally defend himself, his defense was able to resist Hulk's 10,000-ton punch without any problem. Jack opened the 2nd Inner Gate and beat the Hulk until he passed out this time.
Thus Jack understood more or less the strength of the Hulk, he thought that this Hulk was stronger than the one in the movies, but perhaps weaker than the Hulk in the comics. So Jack began to wonder if maybe Thanos was stronger in this universe.
Bruce woke up and saw that Jack was okay, and relaxed. Jack showed him the memory of the fight and Bruce could see how strong Jack really was. Being intelligent, he could clearly see that Jack was just testing something and didn't use his full strength to fight the Hulk.
Jack saw that this Hulk had a weakness, if someone very strong faced him, the Hulk would pass out before getting too angry and the fight would end. This certainly didn't happen in the comics, but as it was necessary for Bruce to awaken, Jack didn't mind.
"I felt that this time I was able to control my transformation better. Now that I knew I could be the Hulk, I didn't lose control when I was angry and was able to remain lucid even when the Hulk appeared," said Bruce.
"Yes, I noticed that too. Let's train this way for a few weeks, then we'll start trying to strengthen your consciousness with magic, so your mind will be stronger and you'll have a better chance of controlling the Hulk," said Jack.
After what Jack said, Bruce began to get irritated again and soon transformed into the Hulk. Bruce didn't improve much and lost his rationality, the Hulk remembered Jack and knew that this opponent was strong.
"So he got very angry and Jack saw with interest that in a short time, the Hulk had the strength of 1000 tons, he did not imagine that the Hulk could think of strategies like this or become angrier just because he wanted to.
But Jack didn't care and used the Mind Stone to make the Hulk lose consciousness, just as he had thought, the Hulk couldn't do anything against the Mind Stone with the powers of the other 5 Infinity Stones increased, and soon he fell asleep.
In the movie, Vision might have tried to do this, but since Natasha could calm the Hulk, Vision never tried, so Jack didn't know if it would be possible only with the Mind Stone without the Power Stone which increased the power of the other Infinity Stones.
Soon Bruce woke up again and the training continued, of course, they had some time to rest. Jack brought various different games and books into the storage space, and unlike what happened with Wanda, he could return to Earth to buy something for them to eat sometimes.
While Bruce was reading something, Jack used the time to train his time control, his training was to take a large notebook and tear out its pages, and use the Time Stone to restore the pages.
Just as he promised the Ancient One, he was not doing anything big that could affect reality or the multiverse, it was useless training for the Time Stone, but for Jack to realize with his magic that time was great.
After a few weeks, Jack could feel his control over time increasing, and it was the control of his own magic and not the control of the Time Stone, during this time Bruce completely learned to control his transformation into the Hulk, and it was much smoother than in the movies.
So Jack began to strengthen Bruce's mind, it was different from what Jack did with Anna, he just wanted to strengthen the mind and not make it immune to mind reading or mind control, after all, Jack wanted Bruce's mind to be fragile for now, so he could make the Hulk pass out when he transformed.
Jack also tried to talk to the Hulk inside Bruce like Thor did in the movie, but the Hulk spoke only a few words and didn't seem to want to talk much. The movie's Hulk lived for two years on Sakaar before he could talk.
As Bruce's mind became stronger, he could hold on longer before turning into the Hulk. This excited Bruce and made him feel that he was really capable of one day fully controlling the Hulk.
The progress continued, but unfortunately, it was very slow. Jack had to strengthen Bruce's mind gradually, and after a few months, Bruce finally managed to maintain his own mind even after transforming into the Hulk.
"How do you feel now, Bruce?" said Jack.
"Not very well, I can feel that I have control, but the Hulk is fighting me all the time to regain control. I also feel that the anger is making me confused and unable to think calmly. If my anger increases, I lose control," said Bruce.
"Very well, but it was a great progress. You have to start now to control staying angry for a long time and remain in control. You can also try now, transformed into the Hulk, to calm down and become Bruce Banner again. This can be a way for you to return," said Jack.
"Is this possible? In your future memory, I can't turn back into Banner after controlling this form of Hulk," said Bruce, confused.
"I already said, in the future, I saw, I didn't exist to help. Now I'm helping you with magic, so you may be able to do it. It's different from the future we saw. After all, you didn't have to wait many years and lose many things to be like this," said Jack.
"Okay, I'll try," said Bruce.
Bruce tried to turn back into his human form, but he couldn't think clearly with so much anger, and with the Hulk fighting him, and soon he turned into the Hulk, and Jack used the mind stone to make the Hulk pass out.
Jack knew it would take a long time for Bruce to have complete control, but now he was sure it was possible, and it would be better than in the movie, and Bruce could return to his human form whenever he wanted in the future.
