Natasha and Clint didn't like that so much because they were part of S.H.I.E.L.D., but they were the only ones without powers and agreed that it was dangerous for the government to control the Avengers. They trusted Fury, but they knew that someone was giving him orders.
Spider-Man agreed with this, and Johnny was thinking about whether he should also join the Avengers and leave the Fantastic Four. After all, he didn't know if he would forgive Reed for what he did. He might know that Susan and Ben were not at fault.
Steve also agreed, and Thor agreed too. He wanted to help the Earth as he thought it was his duty to protect Midgard as the god of Asgard, but he also didn't want to receive orders from the government.
So Natasha and Clint, who wanted to stay in the group to inform Fury, had to agree too. Jack was happy to see this. He didn't have anything against S.H.I.E.L.D., but he knew that Hydra was infiltrated and didn't want to get involved in it.
"Very well, I trust all of you, and I hope you all trust me. That's why I've decided to reveal my secret identity, just like Steve did. Actually, Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Johnny already know about it. I only hide it to avoid problems with the villains," said Jack.
"But for Natasha and Clint, I'm sorry. I trust you, but I know that your job requires you to disclose what you know to Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D., so you'll have to sign a magical confidentiality contract," said Jack.
Natasha and Clint didn't mind, and as they were curious, they agreed. Jack used a contract spell and would also use the mind gem to make it impossible for them to tell anyone who he was.
As soon as Natasha and Clint signed, Jack deactivated his hero suit but still asked the system to hide the Arm Sleeves that had the infinity stones, so everyone could see Jack's face. Only Natasha was shocked by this.
"My name is Jack Shaw, and now you know me, Natasha knows me well, don't worry, I knew you were a spy since I saw you for the first time, and I told Tony about it too," said Jack, laughing at Natasha's shock.
Natasha was even more shocked hearing that, she never thought that Jack was actually a superhero, so all the things she and Fury thought were wrong, and she was irritated that he had told Tony, which meant that her years of infiltration were useless.
"I'm sorry if you wasted your time infiltrating, Natasha, but I didn't want to draw attention from the government and S.H.I.E.L.D with my normal identity, so I couldn't tell you that I knew you were a spy," Jack explained, seeing that Natasha was annoyed.
"I understand, I thought I was fooling you, but it was you who was fooling me all this time, I deserved it this time," said Natasha.
Jack didn't think it was time for them to have that conversation, so he didn't say anything else. After that, the heroes continued talking and getting to know each other better. Steve told about several things from the past, and Thor talked about Asgard.
Jack talked about some things about the Negative Zone and how he spent 18 months there, facing more than 1 billion insects, so they sympathized with him and Johnny and understood why Jack was so angry with Reed Richards.
After the conversation, Jack took everyone's phone number and gave his number as well. Thor only took Jack's number and said he would call if he needed to, so everyone left through Jack's portal back to New York, away from the Stark Tower.
Only Jack, Johnny, and Thor stayed. Johnny said he would stay with Jack, so Jack was already thinking about renting an apartment for Johnny to stay in because he remembered from the comics how difficult it was to live with him.
Thor stayed because he wanted to see Loki, so Jack made a portal to where Loki was and brought him in front of them. Loki was still very injured and wrapped up by the Eldritch Whips, he was awake but seemed shocked by the defeat.
Thor felt bad seeing Loki like this, but he knew that the things his brother had done this time were difficult for the people of Midgard to forgive, and as Jack said, Loki would recover from these injuries in a few days.
"I'm sorry, Thor, but he deserved this beating, not to mention if I didn't do it, he could easily escape my magic, you know your brother well," said Jack.
"I understand, this time Loki deserved it, and we of Asgard believe that someone strong should be respected. If you managed to beat Loki, it's because you're stronger than him. Not killing him showed that you had mercy," said Thor.
"Be careful with him, Thor. Loki made a deal with a powerful being from the universe far from Asgard. That's how he got an army and the scepter," said Jack.
"Don't worry, Loki will be locked up in Asgard for what he did, but it will take me a while to take him there. I was hoping to use the Tesseract, but since it's gone, I'll have to use Mjolnir and wait for Asgard's help to get back there," said Thor.
"I can arrange a place for you to stay with Loki until Asgard says something, so you can take the opportunity to visit Jane Foster. If you don't see her this time, it may take a while for you to return to Earth. Earth women aren't as patient as Asgard women, after all, they don't live thousands of years like you guys," said Jack.
"You're right. I was waiting for Bifröst to be repaired, but without the Tesseract, it could take years for that to happen, so I should go see her," said Thor.

"Great, thanks, my friend. Then I'll go look for Jane," said Thor.
"No need, we're far from where she is. I'll open a portal for you near there," said Jack, and opened a portal near Jane. He knew where she was using the Mind Stone and the Space Stone.
