In a world of constant competition, one man aims for the top. In this new genre VRMMORPG, he plans on becoming the strongest at all costs.
The classes, the races, the starting zones, everything is a mystery in 'New Eden'. This game is coming out without a shred of details. The only thing that was promoted was the freedom of skill choosing.
Our protagonist Alexander, gamer tag Astaroth, has always dreamt of becoming an E-Sports athlete. His parents supported his dream, but they are no longer of this world. He fully intends on making it in this new game, if not for him, then at least to honor their memory.
With no idea how he wants to play his character, Alexander chooses the most mysterious starting race. Will this be his road to success or his downfall? The game assistant certainly thought the latter.
"Do as you wish, young adventurer. I only wish to add this. Do not come back with complaints when you realize you have made the wrong choice," the elf said, looking at him with clear hatred.
"We will see about that," Alexander flatly replied. "I love challenges," he added.
"Very well!" the elf harrumphed. "Have the adventure of your lifetime, as short as it will last," he sarcastically added.
Ahead of him lies an uncertain path, filled with trials and hardships.
But one thing is clear in his eyes. He will become the strongest player in the game, even if he must step over mountains of corpses to do so.
Over are his days of working hard for nothing, it's make or break now!
I now have a discord where you can talk with other readers and me. There are also channels to discuss new weapons; characters; classes; or monsters that you might want to design and see incorporated in the story. I will always give credit to the person that created said thing, rest assured.

Tulis ulasanNobodies mentioning it so I’m going to. This story suffers in only one way and that’s the social interactions. They feel very childlike and basic. Also the mc has some annoying traits as far as social interactions go and it’s off putting. Otherwise it’s a decent read.
this is the second book of this genre I'm reading. it's not my favorite genre, but every once in a while I stumble upon gems like this. flow is amazing, pace is perfect. it's amazing! added to my library and will be reading.
I stopped at around 80. Too many dumb things happen not to mention the CONSTANT POV changes thought the story. How are you supposed to focus on the story when every other chapter is about different characters that have literally no impact on the story as it is now. When the mc made an absolutely insane deal I just couldn't read anymore. Who in their right mind would make a deal where he owed an open ended favor to not just 1 person, but 4. The worst part is that what he got in return was nowhere near worth it. The story had my attention at the beginning but just got more difficult to enjoy. The story is probably good but it hit every little thing that I hate to see in a novel.
This review is at chapter 70~ (minor spoilers) Honestly, this novel is pretty good and I suggest giving it a read, but it most definitely isn't for everyone. All the bases of a good novel are hit like a good power system, interesting concept, lots of things to be discovered, etc.) The more glaring issue, and honestly why some people will drop this novel, is the MC. To put is plainly, the MC is more or less an idiot consistently. For some reason, the author makes him 25 years old when his actions are more in line with someone who is around 16. He constantly craves validation yet acts like a man child several times. To top it off, in a tournament, for reasons purely chalked up to plot contrivance, doesn't kill two of his enemies. The author excuses this by saying he isn't focused on killing but exploring and seeing new things. That doesn't make any sense because...you know... he is literally in a pvp tournament and used to be top 1% in a pvp centered game. I will keep reading because I hope, maybe naively, that the MC won't stay a complete idiot for long and the rest of the novel is pretty cool.
the novel is interesting, but the mc is a little dumb. He's literally in a tournament, with his enemy held by the throat. And instead of killing her, he simply waste time talking, until she kicked his balls and fled. and in the chapter 50 +/- the side chapters begin to get more frequents.
I highly recommend reading this novel and here's why: It's writing quality is at a professional level and it makes the reading quite enjoyable. It's clear and non reiterative. This author's creativity is also off the charts! It completely exceeded my expectations! For anyone out there trying to find a good read, this is definitely worth the while. (as a plus, you won't end with less neurons after reading it)
Ok. First of all, I don't want to offend the author with this review. Secondly, I'm going to review the first 20 chapters. With that said I'm implying that the book will surely improve in future chapters, as the author gets experience but judging by the first 20 Ch I have to say I didn't like this. First, the fact that the MC wants at all costs become a pro player is stupid, at least in my opinion. I don't think some people would really want to try a path with no certainties in a situation where he has no money and doesn't know how to survive. Aside from that, the story itself is nothing new. Aside from the fact that the MC chose a difficult race, there is nothing innovative here. The world-building seems pretty standard, again nothing new. The fact that the MC meets the weapon trainer and the mage "trainer" at the beginning already points to where the author wants to go, but it is another clichè, even the I Got the Masters is a whole clichè. As for the plot itself, where does it lead? What is it that makes it different from other books? Then, the writing quality. Ok, there are not many grammatical errors, yet the MC talks in a weird way with the NPCs, in a totally different way from real life and different compared to how he talks IRL. Then, the fights: essentially Here is the enemy, here is the enemy status, here is a couple of skills, enemy felled. It is rather simple. Notice: This is just my personal opinion. I'm by no means trying to offend or saying my words are absolute. This is an opinion. Feel free to disagree and to read.
This novel is a pretty decent read but there are some aspects that really bothered me. 1) The dialogue. Listening to kindergarteners and elementary school kids interact would be more interesting than the social interaction in this novel. It's severely lacking in flow and feels very "basic" as another review said. 2) The MC himself. His decisions felt so frustratingly dumb, you'd wonder how the guy is a grown adult. His combat master almost died because MC wasted time asking questions when he was instructed to run away. They had just finished struggling to defeat one wolf and the rest of the pack was coming and MC was asking dumb questions like "Isn't it just some wolves? Why do we have to run?" They only survived from luck. Another time, during the tournament, after catching the enemy who had been shooting at him, he threw the guy away instead of finishing him off. This was during a battle Royale, mind you.In regards to the grammar, I have no complaints and the plot itself looks interesting. Just these two things made the novel difficult to read for me.
I usually almost never read the video games genre. But I found this story development very fascinating. It has a solid flow and I've taken quite a liking to the MC. The grammar and the readability is also impeccable. Keep up the good work!
It’s pretty but the main characters race is not explained in any way, he seems to just be a human and the ash part has nothing to do with his powers. Another huge problem is that he acts like the game characters are real, why would I care about some random npc.
Only read a few chapters, but what I can say, this book is creative. Usually I don’t pick up video game novels on here, but this one drew me in. Galanar has a way with words and I already know the character development and action will only get better. The world building flows like a live action and I have to remind myself I’m reading. 😱 don’t pass this up, and the author definitely deserves gifts, golden tickets, and power stones. He literally shoots chapters out for his fans, and let me tell you. More than two chapters a day is defficult for me even. So please support him! The more time he has to be able to sit and type at the computer the more chapters you’ll get. Let’s get him at the top. 👏
I'm absolutely addicted to this ongoing WebNovel! The author's writing is so descriptive that I feel like I'm right there in the story with the characters. The world-building is so well-crafted and the characters are so relatable that I'm emotionally invested in their journeys. I can't wait to see how this story ends and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves an ongoing read!
Really well written and compared to a lot of other MMORPG type novels this one is probably 100x better that them. Whether it be writing quality, story development, character design, and world background this novel is way superior.
This story is absolutely great, do you want great dialogues ? Check Great characters? Check You want a lively world and great world building? Check too For anyone reading this, read it, it is one of the best beginnings to a novel !!!
Great chaps as I expected. The writing is not just great but is also professionally written and the word choice is just sublime. Everything is flowing smoothly so far. Excited for this novel to grow, wishing you the best. Good Luck!
Fellow Game Genre Author Here! I have my own book that I'm writing in this genre with a similar start and I can tell this author is going to take a new route and divert from cliches. At least that's what I see so far @3 chapters. I wanted to take my game novel a different route and I am happy to see that someone else is doing the same! I am very curious to see how innovative this book gets. Because we need creativity and fresh ideas. As for the update frequency, it's still too early to tell but I will add to my collections so I know when he updates. His writing, story development and character are looking good so far. As for world building, I hope to see more in the future. I want to see how he builds his/her game world. It's still too early to tell if we will be getting a proper game world so I will not deduct any star for that at the moment. It's a thumbs up from this bro!

Don't know where to start from. So I'll start from anywhere. 1) The writing quality got me like... Wow. Don't know about you, but I didn't see any error while reading. So good job author 2) The story development is on a whole different level. Hope you keep it up. 3) Character design is perfect. Especially our Alexander the first. 4) Despite the time and dedication our author is putting in this novel. He still updates everyday, what a perfect author. 5)World background; It is so perfect, that I feel like reincarnating there. Still hope on God anyway.
