Nolan and Harley entered the building.
The wooden floor below their feet creaked with every step they took.
As they walked, they were examining the insides of the building.
The first floor was as large as the first floor of their restaurant. There were tables set, but only a few tables with people.
And by what Nolan could see, the people sitting in this restaurant were not nobles. They were not peasants, so Nolan guessed they were most likely merchants or descants of merchants.
"Sirs, how can I help you?" A waiter wearing shabby white clothes walked over to Nolan and Harley.
"Is there a free table on the second floor?" Nolan asked.
"Yes, sir, there is one." The waiter replied respectfully.
"Please lead the way," Nolan said.
The waiter bowed respectfully and led the way upstairs.
"Nolan, what are you doing?" Harley asked through his teeth as they walked behind the waiter.
"Let's first gather some information," Nolan said. "Anyway, do you have a few taels of silver on you?"
