Bab 125: Guests Arrive.
Kurayami left with the girls toward the rooftop where the main feast was going to be, but for now, it would be a little more private. They truly did not plan to do anything naughty as they did not want to ruin their dresses and make-up so soon.
However, among their little group, he did not see Serafall, Rebellion, or Ophis so he looked at Raynare to ask her.
"Hey Raynare, where are the three others? I don't see them, but I am also holding my senses back to be surprised. Plus, I haven't seen Scathach or Rossweisse either."
When they heard his senses were actually held back right now they all felt that it was a sweet thing for him to do as he rarely was that trust. Only they saw him even slightly vulnerable, but at this moment they wanted him to see how those 5 took his breath away.
Raynare smiled at him and shook her head.
"Nope, not telling. They want to shock you and trust me they will. Knowing how much Ophis and Rebellion love you they are pulling all the stops for you. As for dear Rossweisse, she-
Esdeath pushed Raynare out of the way gently and nodded.
"You got that right, even I felt threatened when I saw Ophis' dress. She really made it just for you. Look behind you."
At that moment Kurayami heard the door open and when Ophis walked through the door he practically ripped his glasses off his face as he looked at her dress. It looked like she was wearing the Dimensional Gap in dress form, but he could see it was just like her normal clothes.
Ophis smiled before she looked at the girls behind Kurayami looking at her with jealousy.
"I win."
Akeno frowned before she pulled on Kurayami's left sleeve. Kurayami noticed she got that same look that his mother had when she was mad but was covering it up with a smile. At the same time it also kind of excited him as she looked hot when she was mad.
He ignored his dumb thoughts before Ophis hugged his right arm as she looked up at him.
"So?"
He wanted to make up something that would please all of them, but he found no such easy thing to say. In this case, honestly was the best way to defuse this situation.
"Ok Ophis' dress is certainly the most unique so she gets way more points."
When he finished his words he heard the sound of chains being formed and he glanced behind him where Esdeath had already made a few chains of ice in her hands. Esdeath was glaring at him with a sadistic smile.
"Is that so? I guess you need to b-"
"You did not let me finish. I never said you girls were any less unique compared to her. She simply has access to much more power than any of you so she can do something like this. At the same time, all of your dresses show something about yourselves."
Lavinia smiled at his words as he could always talk with a silver tongue.
"What about me? What do you see from me in my dress?"
She even gave a light twirl showing off her pure white dress which was a breath of fresh air as all the girls liked darker colors. Raynare, Kuroka, Ophis, and Rebellion's favorite was black.
As for Akeno she liked dark purple, Esdeath dark blue, Natsume liked orange with the outliers of Lavinia, Serafall and Artemis wh liked white, pink, and silver. He looked at all of their dresses and began to compliment them.
"Artemi, your dress has the dragons on the sleeves, but on the shoulder's it had the symbol for hunt in greek. Also, the dress is similar to Ophis as it is made of moonlight but has a more fabric look. Lavinia, your dress is white with gold highlight showing your personality"
Lavinia and Artemis looked at their dresses happy he saw that. Now he looked at Esdeath to calm down the sadistic formerly possessed demon girl. She had already consumed poor Algor who remnants were in her Demon Core.
"Well the dress you are wearing is a dark blue one which is your favorite color, but on your shoulder is a motif of a tiger. Your familiar, but it is wrapped by a dragon."
She nodded as the chains went away while she had a slight blush on her face.
"You are too smart you know. Those damn all-seeing eyes."
"Natsume, your dress is bright orange and has what looks to be cursed marks on it. Plus, Griffon is on your shoulder to show that about you. Kuroka, your kimona represents you, plus is has the fur of Aurora another cat like you."
Kuroka wanted to jump in his arms as he got is right to the last letter. Having the fur of such a strong feline was actually better for her as it matched with her own feline heritage. It helped calm her down as the powerful aura of Aurora did not leave even after her fur was shed.
"Boo. We thought we could trap you with this Nya."
He shook his head as he heard footsteps coming up the stairs, but before he could turn around Akeno got on his back and covered his eyes.
"Don't peak yet."
Kurayami knew that it was Rebellion, Serafall, Scathach who was dragged here by Rebellion, and Rossweisse who wanted to impress Kurayami. When all 4 of them were in front of him Akneo raised her hands letting him gaze at the girls.
Scathach and Rossweisse were wearing a purple dress and a silver dress which froze him for a second when he saw the bashful look on Rossweisse's face. She wanted to impress him, but was too shy to look at his face.
As for Scathach she was in no way a young maiden and did not flinch as he looked at her.
"Master, your weapon spirit felt it was needed for me to impress you."
Rebellion showed off her unique dress that looked to be a mix of a dress and armor, but it was not metal around her. It was actually melted down dragon scales from Tyrant as they glowed in bright red. As for the fiber's they were from Castiel, just dyed black.
Kurayami could even feel the dragon aura from them, and he question how they made these dresses so quickly.
'Magic is perfect.'
"Rebellion, I am most impressed. You made a dress that can still be used in battle and not be too long. well done."
She smiled as any praise from her master was perfect. Now he glanced at Serafall who was wearing a bright pink dress that really highlighted her curve and love of the color pink.
"Serafall, Rossweisse, both of your dresses seem to match your color schemes. Now, I would love to say more, but it seems like the party is moving up."
The roof was actually quite large and the food was being moved up here with magic while more people were arriving. He noticed how Suzaku and Ametarasu had arrived in a ray of sunlight on the roof.
When both women noticed Kurayami and the girls they walked over to talk. As he had already talked to Ametarasu it was more Susaku who wanted to meet up with her cousin after a while.
"Kurayami, Akeno it is good to see you again."
Kurayami had to kneel down to hug her which made her see just how much he had grown since she had seen him Even Akeno who was 17 had grown like bamboo.
"How is the reforming of the Himejima clan? I just realized that I am still using that name so does that mean the clan will gain from my influence?"
Suzaku shook her head.
"Not at all, that is your glory. We do not deserve a bit of it as you were the child of aunty who was exiled for stupid reasons. All because she married uncle who treats her well. Foolish."
Amaterasu nodded with a shamed look.
"I should have been more hands-on with my descendants. If I had been maybe you two geniuses would still be part of the clan."
Kurayami looked behind her as he answered her question.
"Then I would not be as strong as I am now. The only reason I got Shin who is one of the biggest reasons for my power is because I was in Grigori and got to meet 4 of the loves of my life."
As he said that he hugged Raynare, Rebellion, Esdeath, and Lavinia. The four of them blushed at his display of affection and even Shin felt appreciated as Kurayami said he needed him. He might not have been a normal dog, but his tail wagged like one.
Seeing how happy he was made Ametarasu take back her statement.
"Then it is for the best. Now, where is my stupid brother, has been behaved? I hope he did not cause you trouble."
"You are not my mom sis!"
They looked behind where they saw Susanoo's face all bruised and beaten. Seeing her brother like that made her raise ad eyebrow as she grabbed him by the ear pulling on it
"Ouch, ouch, I didn't do anything."
She pulled harder and seeing it made them think she was more his mother than his sister.
"What did you do? I will get mad if you don't tell me."
Ares walked in while carrying his kids while his face was also all bruised and beaten. At the same time, Ellisa and Nissa walked with him shaking their heads. Nissa took the time to explain getting Susanoo off the hook.
"He told Ares that he would not flinch if he took a full power punch to the face and that Ares would cry if he took the same. They then started a punching game where the winner had to call the other master for a hundred years."
Kurayami glanced at Ares who looked a little cross. He laughed at Ares as he pointed a this face.
"You looser. I bet you lost."
Susanoo who was now free rubbed his ear as he shook his head.
"Nah, we knocked each other at the same time."
Ares grinned as he made a fool of Kurayami, but the latter could care less. After Ares and his little family arrived the Abyss Dogs also arrived and Clarise and Jack went to with their father as they wanted to carry their little half-siblings.
The rest did not have good relationships with their parents so they went to enjoy the food. Kurayami saw Nico and Shirone were still hanging out. He even saw Sona and Rias who was invited as Sona's plus one.
She looked a little colder and her aura was much stronger than when he first came here. It meant her training with Castiel had gone well, but he even saw her flinch when she saw her trainer flying in the sky.
He swooped down landing on the giant roof with not so much as a breeze caused by his giant size. He had used magic not to cause an issue for anyone, but Rias had run to him and bowed with respect.
She was still terrified by him as last time she was hurt badly in her training by him.
"Master Castiel, it is good to see you well."
The huge tiger glanced down at her with a slight glare in his eyes. Kurayami could swear he saw pure sadism behind the tiger's eyes as he gazed at Rias.
"Rias, have you been training well. I hope you say yes for your sake."
His voice was deep and mixed with growls making her shake as she held her arm. When he had stopped her training she had a large burn caused by holy magic on her right arm which meant he did not hold anything back.
"Yes sir. I trained every day and even worked out. You said my body was weak and a weak vessel would not support strong power."
The tiger nodded before he was about to fly off he left one piece of dreadful news for her.
"You did well, now I expect you to come back by the end of the month. We need to train you more."
He flew off which made Rias groan as she had called a beastmaster. It was his order and if she did not the training was going to be much more intense. Kurayami was laughing on the inside as he decided to kidnap his disciple as well.
He opened a portal to the devil territory and reached in grabbing Sairaorg's face dragging him through the portal. When the young devil saw he was off the ground in front of his master made him grin.
"Master, more training?"
"Not today."
Kurayami put him down and explained.
"It is my fiance Kuroka's pregnancy reveal party today. We are going all out. Plus I also wanted to invite you to my first wedding in two months."
He bowed and nodded.
"I will be there and dress my best. Master's wedding is reason to celebrate."
At the same time, someone else arrived uninvited in another ray of sunlight making Artemis flinch.
"Lady Amaterasu, it seems you are not the only one who has an annoying brother."
Apollo had just arrived in a black suit with a plus one as well. He was holding Percy by the shirt.
"Were here. Sis, your handsome and awesome brother is here."
Artemis's face palmed as she saw he had also kindpaped Percy. The poor guy looked shocked that he was here. However, as Shemhazai was going to arrive quite soon with Azazel Percy would get to meet his mother again.
Kurayami had not been to a party like this in either life as they just did not happen. Birthdays; were mostly just a big meal, with family but this was nice. Kuroka snuggled up next to him making him look down at her.
He smiled as he talked with the girls and the few people who were talking with him. As for Kuroka, she was looking at her sister as she and Nico were most together. She was kind of happy that her sister had already chosen little Nico.
(Next chapter wraps this up and we time skip to the first wedding. Then it should be the hunt for Typhon, the forging of Azazel's spear is going to be epic, I can feel it.)
