"Alice, I have to tell you something or maybe it's more like a confession."

She slowly eyed James, tried to catch the conversation. "About what?"

He stared at her, there's still little indecision inside his heart. There's some thought that told James to stop but he gathered all the courage to spit it out. He couldn't hide this anymore, it felt horrible when Alice's around.

Be strong James! It's now or never! James light another cigar straight away when it started comes to an end. He felt nervous and uneasy. Cigar and wine were the only things that make him calm, it prevent his heart from jumped out from his chest.

"The reason and what I felt that night," 

Alice steady, she's all ears. Her fear suddenly gone she could stare at his eyes without anything in mind. He had another reason all this time? Is that because of me? Is this the end? It's like a dilemma for her, she wanted to know but also too afraid to hear it.
