Bab 59: Day 20
Men filled in to the board room taking their seats. Mr. Wolf walked to the head chair and looked around.
"Ladies and gentlemen if everyone will be seated I'll start this meeting."
Everyone found a seat.
"As you know Fairlynn lost it's leader this weekend. I am here to act as the President and CEO in place of my son until his assists are settled and the company finance can be gone through. If there is no objection then..."
"I object." Lillian and Zane walk into the meeting room.
"And you are?" one of the board members asked.
"I am Lillian Wolf. Legal wife of Jake Wolf. As a wedding present He gave he gave me 20% of his shares and before we were married I got 20% of the company's shares so that gives me 40% right now before his will is read. I think that makes me acting CEO in place of my husband. Zane please pass everyone the documents I have provided. So Senior Wolf please vacate my chair."
Lillian could see his face becoming red as he got up. "The will gives me controll over this company. You mean this will read it carefully It gives me everything and you and his mother nothing. Please show Mr. Wolf out of the building. Now Update me on the new business District we are looking at and what findings each department is working on so we can show are board members were their trust is being place."
Zane gathered the reports and watched as the new boss ran the company. He was so proud of her.
He also knew he had better stay right by her side for if anything happened to this girl he was going to die.
"How did I do for my first board meeting ?" Lillian asked.
"You played it just like the boss said. You should of been an actress." Zane gathered everything need to take back to the club.
"Ready to head home?" Zane asked.
"Yes, but I wish I was going to the club. I'm going to miss him tonight." Lillian said.
"Boss will miss you too. Let me get you home."
He drove Lillian back home and walked her in to check on Gege. Two men were left out side to watch over them.
He instruct the gate guards to notify him at once if anyone comes around.
Then he headed off to the club.

Jake looked at his laptop. Twenty days ago he forced his wife into a contract and today she willingly stayed by his side.
It is said Wolfs are very loyal to their family and their packs, and either as a team or on their own wolves are a dangerous force.Wolves relationships can be considered better than that of humans because of their loyalty, once mated they tend to stay with that partner for life.
Then the thought of his father only the male and female alphas of the pack will mate. His father has never been an alpha.
As his mind thinks of these thing Zane walks in with a case of documents to go over.
"How did she do today?" Jake asked.
"She is truly your better half. Your father left mad. I had a man follow him straight to the lawyers to check on the document."
"When will my funeral be now?" Jake asked.
"Friday three days from now. If he makes a move on the Mrs. it will be soon."
"Keep her safe my friend I am counting on you." Jake picked up the files out of the case and started reading.
"You know this will be the first night we will not be together. Even in the hospital I was close by. It kind of hurst." Jake said.
"You to make a great couple. It's only for a few days." Zane says.
Zane works on his laptop and soon he says "Boss, someone wants to talk to you." He turned the screen around and there with the biggest smile was Lillian on Face Chat.
Jake took the computer and walked into the other room.
"I miss you." Lillian said.
"Not as much as I miss you. I think I will die being away from you." Jake sat on a chair.
"What did you do today?" She asked.
"Worked on some of the clubs issues. I think I'm going to have to close a few on the east coast they are just costing to much to keep them running. I've check on all the upgrades you started and hopefully soon you can get back to that project."
She listened to him rattle off and just enjoyed his voice.
"How was your first day as head of our company?" He asked.
"Your job is hard. I did everything you said and Zane was a big help. I will be glad when you can take it back and I can go back to helping others."
"Was my father hard to deal with?"
"No, I was surprised at how easy it was. I was also surprised your Mother did not show up today." Lillian said.
She could see there was something on his mind. He had kept what Pop had told him from Lillian.
"I can see on your face something is wrong what is it?" She asked.
"My Mother will never bother us again. She damage her body by trying to take her own life. Her mind is gone. Pop will see to it she is taken care of now. She has been a strong woman all her life and now she is worse off then a child."
She could see that this was hard for him. "I sorry, if there is anything I can do just ask."
,"You are doing it just by being at my side. I never thought I could feel this way about a woman and that the heavens I found you."
They talked for a few more hours before say good night.
This was going to be a long week for the both of them.
