i don't know if you will do it but i am imagining that he will be able to use his quirk on his body like he takes a step that counts as a strike and uses the quirk to propel himself further. If you say he is striking the ground so he can't push himself then you can make it that he uses his quirk almost at the same time his feet leaves the ground and create something like soru from one piece
