he isn't baby, it was just explained that was one of the Original Baby's trait; the mc rectifies this by saying he didn't want to head down that same rabbit hole as og baby himself.
Killing beasts, mindless creatures, that was one thing. I'd done it plenty of times without a second thought. But killing another humanoid, someone who might have a family, friends... Was that a step I was ready to take?

You aren't stupid, let me use numbers instead. Mc is hypothetically a 10 in this scenario... Beside that they will have passives. Mc = 10 - strength and durability Enemy = 10 - speed and flexibility When MC fuses/merges with Enemy, you get Enemy-Mc. Enemy-Mc = 60 - str, dura, spd and flx When Mc defuses from Enemy, he takes Enemy's pl and passives for himself. Thus you get New-Mc. However, the mc will always be weaker than his fused counterparts. Therefore; New-Mc = 45 - Str, dura, spd and flex. Weaker than his fused self, but still stronger than both him and enemy simply added together.
