I wonder if the author will keep Frost here to train before going to return the cold flame back, which was his main objective.
Well that a way of life to live by.
"Well, if you must know," she sighed dramatically. "…It was because I got bored."

I miss understood this line as she was pregnant before the emperor met her, but that would rule out the blood rituals.
He smiled. "She was pregnant with you even before we bade the Silas Clan farewell and returned to the Kandrian Empire…"

Check was a baby when transmigration, but the hint was the mother had void like eyes, so could be a clan related issue when the children grow up. This is one rabbit hole, lol hope I am so wrong
"If you take my hand, I can promise to be there for you," The prince offered. "I don't know how much I can help, but I always strive to live up to those who place their trust in me."

Could this be a hint to find who was rui before the transmigration of mc. I think I got to re-read the beginning again to get clarity on the transmigration, because I remember it was when he was a baby at the orphanage. Great red heron from the author if you wanted to make filler arc in the story.

The only ones we know to talk about the “void” were martial masters. This feel like a guru path that does not follow the offensive and defensive foundations of martial arts. Maybe that why the sage favors him, because he has a strong spiritual connection to everything …. Great introduction to character
I think this could be a miss interpretation of a martial transcendence. I think they do very little to interact with humans, because their power is connected to all life and acting out in emotion will affect everyone around. Great approach to this topic.
His eyes narrowed. "It is precisely because they do not intervene in human affairs. Nobody knows why. Not even those most intimately familiar with Martial Transcendents know why. However, Martial Transcendents have gone far as to watch nations that they themselves built before they became Martial Transcendents crumble before their eyes, not lifting a finger to stop it. That is the stubbornness, if you can call it that, with which they abstain from intervening in human civilization."

There seriously was no sect that has water for there name? I mean if he make it a phase I get it, but this got me thinking. Oh well great chapter
Okay the martial master said they cannot use fighting techniques before their visit here at the start of the match. This leads that he will learn a new technique next chapter ??? Great hyped up fight, but do miss the adventure to new lands
I believe that they are not both the antithesis. Rui is the original reincarnation and Isu is what another version of him can be. Rui has past experience and memories to build up to become the antithesis, while Isu has to experience and develop them. Isu is not the big planner but a survivor in every situation he is in. To summarize I think Rui the version 1 and Isu is version 2
It didn't matter if she would rather have chosen to go through the doors of death than the gates of the Sage Realm.
