Écrire un avisThis review is for new readers afraid to read this novel because of slow progress in realm. The slow progress in realms is manly because the power-system is completely training focused rather than resource-based so training can't be time-skipped. Usually in cultivation novels Authors can time-skip 500+ years of grinding since all MC needs to do is cultivate, gather qi in dantain and progress, so the training arc can be summarized in one line like "MC ate ying-yang pill and cultivated for 500 years and broke through." But this novel is complete science based martial novel where the only way to progress is by training and creating new martial arts unique to your martial path. And each new technique needs some source of inspiration, a training model with planning, followed by an elaborate training arc. And training-arcs in this novel are the BEST. The novel is slow but not lazy, author could had definitely time-skipped training arcs but then the technique would be way less impactful to readers.
Shameless 5-star author review. This novel is a passion project of mine, I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it. The focus of the novel is action and adventure equally, with absolutely no other genre. The martial arts are centered around reality and science as much as possible, albeit greatly exagerated. The world is something I've invested a lot of time into building, as well as integrating into the plot in a logically justified manner. Please give it a read if you're interested.
To be honest I was expecting this story to be so much better in the first few chapters but as I kept reading it kept getting worse worse and worse. First off is just how annoyingly nerfed the mc is and author just keeps trying to nerf him more and more, the author keeps on repeating certain issues with the mc which shouldnt even be there anymore. The worst part is the hugeeee amount of useless information dump EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER literally nothing I would read 10 chapters to only get a normal chapter’s worth of good information. I kept trying to give this story a try but as I reached almost chap 60 I just gave up and dont want to waste anymore of my time.
I haven't nothing else to say really, this is the best book for readers who love martial art work and persistent mc, it would be a pity to just scroll past and not take a peek. each Chapters giving specific information and story chains to future chapters, memorable moments and heart stealing characters, even though the chapters are only few, they are actually quite addicting. author deserves a medal 💯
This is prolly the best novel to learn about fighting narrations... Holy... if u're not confident about ur fighting narrations then try writing one of these type of novels... U'll came out a master once the novel is complete.
Well the idea is nice and the start of the story was great but then it just started reading like a lab report.. even some chapters later on when the MC was “planning” out his training plans read like an abstract of a thesis. That was annoying but it’s not the reason I dropped the novel, what really ticked me off is how everyone (and I mean everyone from the orphans to the leaders of the nation) somehow always talk with great logic and points of validity. I wouldn’t be surprised if the author chose the scientific track when they were in high school but bro, that’s not how you write a novel.
FINALLY after 1000 CHAPTERS, it's time for my review!Short Summary (so far): Rui is an intelligent scientist now martial artist in a world full of esoteric and martial way mystery. From a lowly trainee finding his martial path to one of the most elusive and chaotic martial squires in that part of the continent there is only more in-store for our MC and his friends & family like Kane. Will he fall under the super powers and organizations of this dangerous world or rise above and become one of the greatest Martial Artists the world has ever seen? To be like water, to reflect a boundless void, to encompass all and more, let's see what Rui does!First off the updating has never been a let down, its's probably top 10 on this sight for consistency in that department.Writing quality is amazing in part because Rui is an intelligent character, there's very detailed and well thought out internal monologues. Balanced with the blood pumping fighting scenes. Overall the writing has literally no mistakes between other character view points. The transition between povs has also gotten amazingly better. The world hasn't even been fully explored by the MC, there has been consistency in the world development but also limitless potential. From the mysterious esoteric materials to the unknown beast lands, much more is to be learned. How big is there world exactly???Finally the plot line has honestly been really steady, all of the arcs have been top tier and pivotal to Rui's growth. I can see how the most recent Dungeon Arc was lengthy but honestly it was needed to illustrate just how much hatred Chairman Deacon would have for Rui for future events that took place and may take place.Every character has their moments and you learn so much about them that sometimes the character you see for a brief moment doesn't feel like an extra or side character.Rui has grown so much and done so much, and there are twists and surprises always waiting. Kane, Fae and others from his time as an apprentice will probably be seen again. As a reader whose been here since basically the beginning I've seen the improvements the stories has gone through.Big congrats author, can't wait to read the rest of his story!!!
Spoiler de révélationthis novel had an alright premise but it is completely ruined by the incompetency of the author by making the story seem like it was written by a 5 year old
A great novel so far with many details, though it has quite a bit of info dumps it sets up the background of the world pretty nicely without stopping it's progress for more than 1 or 2 chapters at a time. So far it has a 'pure' motive behind it, no evil constantly breathing on MC's neck or some kind of revenge, just pure enthusiasm and determination which I like a lot
Story overall is super basic with constant writing deveatioms leading to meaningless prose and incessant repeating of lines. Overall the author wants to try to fill up the word count with detail but fails most of the time. Martial Arts theme is cool and all but just not executed that well. Typos almost every paragraph. They range from improper grammar to entirely missing words. If the author were just to read over what he wrote it would easily be an entertaining read. The fact of the matter is the authors lack of editing just leads to the readers becoming unwilling editors themselves. I can confidently predict that if the Author focused any amount on cleaning up simple mistakes the novel could easily become more popular. Unfortunately as it stands the Novel is very close to MACHINE TRANSLATION quality and thus at most will be considered a filler book between people waiting for what they actually enjoy reading.
A classic martial arts novel. It was a good read not to fast pace and I could digest all the information that was given to me comfortable. I can't wait for future chapter's from the Author.
Caught up 795 and can say this is a great novel. Though there are a few things to note that are required going in: 1: Deal with a lot of science and a fair amount of Psuedo science. Don’t get me wrong, I think author does a pretty good job of staying accurate. But its still fantasy. Some suspension of disbelief is still required. 2: info dumps. Omg so many info dumps. They are usually cool so I have enjoyed them. I generally like detailed novels over fast pace and lacking content. This novel would be pretty fast pace without the info dumps. I think it strikes a good middle ground but if info dumps are a no no for you then this probably isn’t for you. Overall those are my two warnings! If those aren’t a problem for you I 100% recommend trying this novel. It’s not #1 of those Im currently reading but it’s definitely near the top! Oh also low romance. I like this but if you need heavy romance or harem this isn’t for you at least so far.
This book has way too many unnecessary descriptions, I have to deal with that by skipping to the relevant details, but otherwise it's a pretty decent read. In exchange for slow pacing you have good worldbuilding and constant supply of character progression, making the plot smooth and satisfying.
One of the most boring and slow paced stories ive read i couldnt even get throught the initial chapters idk what to say its just not my thing
A masterpiece in world building, character design and power system. Just reading the fights in this story gets my blood pumping. The author has weaved a power system that is so creative and allowed for so much creativity. A power system and the main character's climb so believable that you will find yourself wondering if humanity in real life might also be able to achieve these levels of individual strength. Hats off to an incredible writer and this incredible story. I am glad that I am able to witness this story and John Falken's climb as it gets unfolded.Thank you
got to say the intro chapters are painful and aren't good at all in my opinion. read to chapter 17 which is where i dropped it. the mc doesnt come off as smart which the story wants you to belive he is which is only supported by random info dumps the mc provides. but at the same time he knows nothing at all about the world he lives in which i would expect a normal 13 year old to know let alone someone who has been reincarnated and is suposedly super smart now since they had a second hyper learning period. top that off with basic logic/world building mistakes like thinking muscle memory carries over between reincarnations and deciding to make healing potions some scented candle because the author thinks it would apply faster then drinking (and comparing the effectiveness to nano bots which is a disgrace to nano bots and technology) it and leaves less impurities that way. not like cigarettes and vape build up residue in the lungs so why wouldn't this potion do the same. (we all know it is just to be different and not follow tropes but it is justified so poorly)first time i have been put off by a story so much before the paid chapters start. no idea how this only has like 4 reviews that arent 4-5 stars especially with people complaining in paragraph comments.
Not bad. I actually enjoyed it for the most part, but I dropped it after the author started adding symbiotes to the martial world. I didn't like that part. I don't mind it existing, but hate that the mc wants some bug in his brain. The whole symbiote thing just feels off to me in a martial world, guess I'm more of a purist than that. So yeah, dropped. Good read otherwise.

This is my second review in two years now. The novel has gained a much more defined identity since then, having defined strengths and areas that some consider shortcomings. With this review, I wish to convey the core domains of focus of this novel to manage your expectations. This novel focuses on the intersection between martial art with science and the world. I have created a framework of martial art centered around science and an intricate and deep world centered around martial art. If you are interested in exploring a refreshingly unique hard power system centered around science, then this novel is for you. If you're interested in an intricately constructed world woven around martial art and its impact on civilization, then this novel is for you. I would advise you to be patient when reading this story, it is slow by any reasonable measure.
