Synopsis
Draven is a magic professor in a fantasy world. He is also an earl, notorious for his evil deeds and mistakes since youth. His downfall is due to a curse that hinders his intellectual potential and his talents. Eventually, he becomes a villain, losing everything he holds dear: his siblings, fiancée, house, domain, and more. After a miserable death, he reincarnates in the modern world as Dravis Granger.
In his new life, he grows up to be a highly intellectual individual oblivious towards his previous life, becoming a young professor in mechanical engineering and a researcher. However, he harbors a strange obsession with creating a game, fueled by vivid imaginings of another world. This obsession leads him to develop a game that mirrors his previous life. Upon completing his virtual reality world, he regains his past memories. Overwhelmed by intense emotions—rage, sadness, and the realization of his past ugliness—he suffers a fatal heart attack.
In his final moments, he hears a voice, seemingly from the world itself, offering him a chance to return to his original fantasy world. However, he would only retain the memories of his modern life, not those of his first life’s mistakes. He agrees and is reincarnated once more, this time with the knowledge of a modern mechanical engineering professor.
But one thing about the Dravis Granger, he's not just a mechanical engineer professor. Not just a straight, killer genius professor. He has his ideals, and the world is too full of villains for his great idealism. So he strived, with his great mind, he became a mastermind. But not as a villain, but as a person who has lost hope in police and justice, and decided to help the people by his own hand. Collecting victims and invited those handpicked talents to his side, making several insane stunts, assassinating, trapping, and eradicating the scums from the world.
But now in this fantasy world, he has to survive from multiple factions trying to kill him, protect his domain, protect his siblings, protect his fiance, and the most important thing.
Protect the world.
But he hadn't lost the Dravis from the modern world.
As a professor at the morning, an earl at the afternoon, and a dark knight at the night.

I'm impressed by the intricate world-building and the professor's unique approach to challenges. The storyline is filled with unexpected twists that keep me eagerly turning the pages.
I believe there are some similarities with the villain wants to live, which is one of my beloved novel as well, but I wouldbeg to differ if people say this masterpiece is the same one with thet rare incredible masterpiece! It's in a different setting as in this novel Draven is at a medieval kingdoms-era, and unlike the main character in VWTL, here the Dravis is also calculating and cool, and a mechanical professor. If you say this is plagiarism and shameless, then those guys who make the same reincarnation stories like the goblin, slime, and also villainess second chance would be more shameless than this. Please at least read and give it a chance for dozens of chapters before you make a bad review. And I'm rooting for you, dear author!! Good luck!!

Iwould like to say im interested, but i found that there are still lots of room for improvement especially in ory development. But the potenital is evident.please conitinue writing
It's a nice book until now. I like how the professor solves his problems with intelligence and a bit of violence. At the beginning there were some problems with repetition in some chapters, but this problem seems to be solved.
1st, I was intrigued about the modern genius actually coming from magic medieval world with a cursed, it hook me up. BUT it all change when I get a deja vu feeling, until it become terrifyingly similar too my Favourite Novel " The Villain Wants to Live". Author! you COPIED it word to word! it disgust me so much especially when he make a joke! look here author.. Didn't u not mention him in early chapters as Dull and Empty despite being a genius in Earth? why is he suddenly is he smiling and making joke? You already ruin your work in that part.. after that in the tower as a professor, you copied the scenarios word to word from "The Villain Wants to Live" where he coldly interrupted the student from asking a question... Here I thought you would change for your own uniqueness,like make giving him more pat ience to listen since you sud denly made him 180 warm personality. BUT YoU Didn't! in became a disgusting mess because you still copy the cold for no reason scenario of him scolding the student. It became against to the try hard warm personality he shown earlier. The reviews has a lot of yapping about this novel being good, and it displease me. but I admit that I haven't seen it all to make a full judgement. BUT WHAT I CONFIDENTLY KNOW IS THAT YOU FAIL! You Fail making Good first impression, and if people still give me good proof that the novel is finally unique in late chapters.. I still wouldn't be able to read this novel since, I Jasre who wholeheartedly love the novel "The Villain Wants to Live". you just made me upset for ruining my imagination of my favourite characters just from that early chapters you upload. And You made me scared trying to continue this novel that there is further disappointment That I may witness. I like it. It gives a vivid description of how living in a fantasy world that has a solid academic system looks like. Hands up to the author that found the idea!
The author delivers a compelling narrative filled with twists and turns. The Villain Professor’s Second Chance is highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a good mix of fantasy and intellectual prowess.
The amount of similarity to another work worried me and disgust me at first, but it turns out to be a completely different work and I can see the amount of respect the author have towards the maker of the other work. Good luck Author!!
A thoroughly engaging read, the book combines intellectual puzzles with dynamic action scenes. Draven's character development is particularly well done, making him a relatable and intriguing protagonist.
Now we're talking. I love this kind of professsor novels. I hope there would be more professor novels in the future that has the smae quality as this one.

I believe this is one of the greatest professor novels exist, especially in this platform. And the last chapters are DAMN DOPE! I can't really say I'm not interested and hyped for the next chapter!
I read this till chapter 200 and I just realized at 190+ that I don't see a SYSTEM , STATS and SHOP/SKILL update, it look like the author became lazy with the system or maybe I miss it?? was it shotdown🤦♂️ but it's was great story development that I didn't even notice the system 😁✌ it was great only the downside was the system

I have read it till chapter 92 or so, the overall story is promising, with a little more huff!! it will be better, the reason being that some of the background of the character/ characters is/are not well put together. and the author as a way of repeat the same thing in paragraphs, i mean after the author gives an information, the next two paragraphs will contain the same previous information but rephrased and then some more information will be added. so after everything it will be like 600 word count instead of it just being 250 and it will still contain the all information that author whats to pass to readers
