By the time Chu You arrived back at the ward carrying a bag of Chinese medicine, he was startled to see that Nian Yuyu's gaze towards him had grown more resentful, and he looked back at her, puzzled.
Nian Yuyu huffed and turned to walk to the wardrobe, taking out her father's clothes and packing them into a bag.
"Yuyu," her father called her, "everything is packed up, now go find the doctor to sign off on this, and then handle the discharge procedures."
"Oh," Nian Yuyu took a pile of receipts and headed straight for the door.
"Uncle, I'll go with Yuyu," Chu You dropped the remark and, without waiting for her father's response, chased after Nian Yuyu and left the ward together.
The hallway was bustling with people coming and going.
Chu You wasn't wearing his white coat today, not as eye-catching as usual. He caught up with Nian Yuyu and reached out to hold her hand again.
Nian Yuyu unreasonably shoved the discharge report into his hand, "You go find the doctor to sign."
