Écrire un avisAs of chapter 14, what is the biggest problem of this novel? The answer is everything related to romance. The pacing is bad, the transitions are bad, the motive behind the interest is bad, the time it takes between interest and relationship is bad, a bunch of red flags towards who will be part of the harem etc. If you're like me and want quality content, I suggest you either skip this novel entirely or skip every single paragraph with a girl in it. This book is supposedly a western original but everything related to romance feels like the most generic Chinese trash. Every bit of romance I read downgraded the quality of the story by at least 50 percent. I don't understand what's with webnovel and western authors repeating the same mistakes again and again. It's not enjoyable, it's frustrating, it's boring and repetitive. Go read some Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie or anything else for a more real and mature outlook on what romance is, anything but Chinese webnovels for god's sake. Other than that, the science is interesting and the story is almost non-existent till this point. It's just an endless slice of life of him learning and talking to people around him in an environment that feels like it will quickly lose its meaning by virtue of whatever the supernatural element presented at the beginning is. I can only give it a score of 3.2 after reading so much.
I just want to ask the author of his background in math particularly statistics. I am quite interested in PDF estimation using Kernel Functions, but I am not really familiar with Bayesian something. I am solving these equations for me to be able to approximate the PDF for a research study of mine for Social Science about the relationship of distance of dorm rooms and the probability of friendship. It will also serve as practice for me to be able to use the Kelly Criterion by plugging a PDF instead of just a constant. I will maximize the growth of investment that way even if the probability has some level of uncertainty. I am also delving into Beta Distributions. Actually, I rarely have an internet connection so I rediscovered it myself. Anyways, the point of my comment is not to flex, but to find a colleague that has the same interests. Namely earning money by analyzing probability distribution functions.
After the recent chapter I must write a review, the mystery is gearing up which is nice and some interesting plot-points are incomming. The science is pretty detailed. Wanna see how the author is gonna continue this.[img=update][img=update]
The first few chapters had me thinking I recognised this from somewhere, and then I remembered another story on webnovel called Scholars Advanced Technology System. In the end, I enjoyed reading all 1500 chapters from that one, but I'm stopping here on C16 because these characters just don't interest me.
I really enjoyed the first 14 chapters. The science is on point so far, I think the author is going for more of a scientific curiosities approach, at least in the later stages. The mystery is developing slowly. The hot scenes are pretty good. Some of the characters are interesting. I guess we have kind of an average guy becoming smart trope here. Will see where this goes. It's in the early stages, but I can't wait to read more of this. [img=update]
the story is OK, grammar and such are OK. the story isn't bad. I guess if you are into scientific formulae. the formulas really annoy me, and the way the mc talks by using hipster terms is annoying. Also, he is a genius, but he's trying to talk like the cool him. rge story is getting a little loopy also. the story was OK to read for free, but I wouldn't spend for it.
I love this novel so much! It combines the science and slice of live aspect in such a nice way! Additionally, the bits of mystery which are slowly added to the story are also implemented fantasticly! For those who know the novel, it sometimes gives me "Scholar's Advanced Technological System" vibes but written in a better way with more story building and more specific! All in all, it's one of my favorite novels by far! Post Scriptum: I hope the Author keeps updating consistently and doesn't drop this!
Started out good. Liked all the math stuff but story takes a nose dive in the 2nd half. The story is marked complete so I can only assume the end was the ending. That end was terrible. In other words if this was a murder mystery, the killer is never identified and got away with it. Read the free chapters and then stop there.
I’m surprised by the quality of this story. I thought it would fall apart when he, with minimal interaction with his crush up to that point, revealed what he believed to be his biggest secret. Fortunately, the level of the story remained consistent. Now, there’s hope that this won’t be another promising story that gets abandoned.
Spoiler de révélationWay better after you get past the first 5 or 6 chapters. MC stops speaking like he's some 90s high school kid, and dialog between characters becomes way better to read. im starting to really love this novel.
this book told me that I was dumb in all types of ways so I decided not to be dumb and installed the app brilliant to get better at math and I realized that math could be fun ,because its the way its teached that makes it boring and tiring not math in of its self atleast for me. but any way the story isn't just about math but the mc geting general super intelligence and something deeper something more... but anyway wont spoil to much as this is my first review so things that I might say will probably be wrong.
This is an interesting novel, not the best, but I'm digging it overall. Only thing, wish the MC wasn't so hard-bend on university live, anyways, it's pretty chill. and the main plot is starting to show up.
I love it, the science is on point so far, especially the programming part, also the scenes are spicy. I hope it gets more life when it gets to uni stuff though
I absolutely loved this story .but my man, that ending?! like wtaf???!!! like honestly that ending was not an ending. please tell me you will go back and write more. like that was the worst cliff hanger and I'm begging you please resolve this story. like bruh you did not actually answer anything but left more questions. boo .but I still love what I read .
the idea is unique and everything here is good except for the ch author plz pump more ch [img=strong]

Spoiler de révélationKinda nice. The MC is not egoistic right now so I want to see if it changes. I think it's cool to see an academic journey from him. I've read only one novel similar to this in the past.
Spoiler de révélationAuteur WorldScholar
Shameless review from the Scholar here. This story is not simply about a smart MC who comes up with smart ideas and brings up technology to the table, as the mysteries start to unfold, and the characters change this will transform to a story about what lays beyond human reach.
