Surviving Apocalypse as a Blind

I'M BACK!




Fang Muiren survive the apocalypse for 16 years and was planning to survive for more years, but for some reason he felt like living for 16 years is quite enough for a man like him. He could become a legend at this point for surviving that long while being blind.

August 08, 2041 — on the way to 'pharmacy', Fang Muiren, one of the original members of Sursist Caravan, fought an entire horde alone, making his whole team escape and do their task, then die at the hand of the abhorrent.

November 22, 2023 — a year before the apocalypse began and 15th month of pandemic. Fang Muiren woke up in a soft and scratchy object. He could vaguely guess it as a 'bed'. He place his hand at the bed and close his mind, thinking to scan the whole place. Did they save him? Did Emilito or Cassidy go back for him? Are they crazy?

However, instead of shapes taking place and showing him where he is, all he could see is pitch black. His ability is not working. Instead of panicking, he started to feel the object and place he's in. He frowned. Indeed he's in a bed.

There's a braille stitched to the upper side corner near a wooden object, it reads; Blue Comforter — Bed. Stupefied, he clumsily stood up and began to feel up everything.

'chair', 'window', 'pot', 'night table', 'lamp'...

There's braille almost everywhere, as if this place was designed with his condition in his mind. Walking a little bit more, bumping things along the way, he reached something.

"Closet...polo...tank..." God. What's happening? He knows where he is. He's in his room in their apartment. But, its impossible! the building was destroyed and turn to ash after an Abhorrent put it to fire. Is he in heaven? hell?

"illusion?...no..." Fang Muiren, a man who rather face the cruel reality than fleet in a false dream world, for the First time wished
that everything he's thinking is real. That this is reality, that he went back on time...not imagining or relieving his whole life.

"Please be real...."
