"I am extremely sorry." Byeol apologized to his parents after he learnt about what had happened last night.
After the explosion in his room. His father carried him across the city, moving as fast as he could while leaping through buildings, to the best hospital in Korea that tends to Mana related injuries and Hunter Accidents.
But his mother was pissed off at his father. He didn't inform her which hospital he went to and she spent the entire night trying to find out where he was admitted.
"Honey, I told you I am sorry. I forgot to call you after reaching the hospital." Now his father was prostrating on the ground with two heavy sets of books over his knees. Though it wouldn't hurt his father who is an S-Rank Hunter, he didn't say it because his mother might get even angrier.
He looked towards his back and touched his wings, "What about these?" He asked his parents.
His father replied this time, "It seems like your Awakening has caused some changes to your body. Though extremely rare, it is not unprecedented for the body to change after awakening. You should have some skills related to those. But we have something more important to talk about right now." Saying this his father got up from the ground. Though his mother frowned a little, she didn't say anything. He opened the door of the room and called for someone.
A few minutes later, Woo Jinchul entered the room with a few more men following behind him. All of them wore black coloured suits and black sunglasses on their faces.
Jinchul bowed a little to his superior's son and then took out a small golden coloured tool and placed it beside Byeol.
"Please place your hand over the crystal."
Byeol followed his instructions and placed his hand over the purple crystal in the middle of the tool. A small device connected to the tool beeped twice and showed "Error"
Jinchul asked him to remove his hand and place it back again, showing the same results. Jinchul then took the tool and declared.
"This tool is currently unable to measure your magic power. But firstly, Congratulations~ You are at the minimum an A-Rank Hunter. You could also be an S-Rank but you would need to go to the Mana Measurement Centre for a more accurate analysis."
Go Gun Hee thanked Jinchul and led him out of the room. He then informed Jinchul that he might be taking a few days of leave from work.
He returned back to son and hugged him tight, "Congratulations~"
"Thanks Dad. Though I don't know what to do next."
Gun Hee thought about it a little before asking his son.
"Do you want to be a Hunter?"
"... I don't know. I mean, I am already always busy with my job at my company so being a Hunter on top of that will be a little difficult." Byeol replied.
Go Gun Hee didn't say anything but just nodded his head with a disheartened look on his face.
"... But when I think about the fact that I have received this power and there are still so many people suffering at the hands of the monsters. I think I should become a Hunter."
Go Gun Hee gave a loud laugh and patted Byeol on the back.
"That's my son! Don't worry about your company. Places where A-Rank and S-Rank Hunters are required are very few and far between. You can easily balance between the two of them. Though let's talk about it later. I think you should rest right now."
Byeol examined his body and stretched himself but didn't feel any kind of discomfort. He walked to the washroom that was connected to the room and checked himself in the mirror.
He could already notice some key differences in his appearance. Most notably, his height had increased by a lot. If earlier he was 6 foot 3, he has now crossed to 6 foot 8. His hair had turned into a glossy silver with golden hues and his eyes were now completely golden and always seemed to glow a little. His wings were completely white but gave out a small golden glow.
He looked down at his hand and clasped them together. He could feel the immense amount of power flowing through his body. But mysteriously, he could control his strength like an expert. As if he has done this already a million times before.
'Weird.'

It has been two days since he had woken up. He was going to be discharged today. He was kept for two more days because he didn't seem to fall asleep at all.
He was awake the entire time. He also didn't get tired or exhausted, both physically and mentally. He always seemed to be in the best possible condition. His father told him that the huge amounts of mana can remove physical exhaustion, but he was surprised when Byeol told him that he didn't get mentally exhausted even after spending the entire day in the hospital staring at the white ceiling.
"Mr. Go Byeol. Please follow me." A nurse asked him to follow behind her. The nurse blushed a little seeing him. He was already extremely handsome before his awakening, but his looks seem to have improved after his awakening.
Unknown to him, he also seemed to radiate an aura of awe and magnanimity, which only seemed to increase his looks.
Though looks were not the only thing the nurse was blushing for. His toned body was visible through the hospital gown that he was wearing. He was supposed to wear his own dress but his wings made that impossible. So he was currently wearing a black trackpant and a hospital gown on the top. The gown had the back of it open through which he passed his wings.
He then wrapped the wings around himself. The wings were large enough to completely envelop his entire body.
He got all kinds of looks as he walked down the hallways of the hospital. His father had gone away for reasons that he didn't tell him, while his mother was downstairs waiting for him.
He met up with his mother and walked out of the hospital. The rays of the sun fell on his body directly.
"Hmm?"
Suddenly he started feeling more powerful the longer he stayed under the sun. But rather than feeling stronger, he felt as if he was getting something back. Something long lost. Something precious to him.
