Snow White as a Chess Piece

Natapos ang klase at wala man lang akong natutunan kundi ang salitang 'KAMATAYAN'
"You look stress Princess Snow." Napatingin ako kay Lord Morris na nasa harapan ko ngayon.
"May nangyari ba?" Tumayo naman ako bago ako bumuntong hininga. "It's rude of me to say but it feels so boring..."
I'm just being straightforward.
"Princess Snow and Lord Travelyan, I'll be following later on. I'm sorry." Gustuhin man naming magtanong ay nauna nang lumakad si Lady Rebel.
"Sa'n naman kaya siya pupunta?" Mahinang tanong ni Lord Travelyan pero sakto na para marinig nang mga tenga ko.
"We should leave Lady Rebel alone. It looks important." Dahil hindi naman siya mauuna kung hindi yo'n importante.
Pagdating naming Commissary ay napahinto ako.
"Please refrain yourself from picking a fight with her majesty. You might get hurt on the future."
"I'm her knight. I won't be able to forgive you if you if you hurt her feelings. Please remember my words."
I'm well informed about their relationship. Alam kong wala akong masamang nasabi kahapon but in either way...
"I'm sorry for being rude Princess Victoria." Hindi naman siguro masamang humingi nang tawad kahit wala kang naging kasalanan. Patunay lang ito na ayaw mong magkaroon nang away.
"Oh my, Princess Snow, what are you sorry for?" You know what happened yesterday and yet you're asking me with such an innocent face.
"We're friends Princess Snow. Yesterday is just an accident, as your friend, I understand." Such a gentle tone but it looks like you don't really mean it.
"Yesterday is just an accident indeed." Pagsabat naman ni Lady Xiu na ikinaupo na namin ni Lord Travelyan.
"I forgot–" Tumingin naman kaming lahat kay Prinsesa Victoria. "Please welcome the new lady in our circle, Lady Eunacia Roberts." Kumaway siya samin tsaka umupo sa tabi ni Lord Travelyan.
"Ah~ Im jealous~" Buntong hininga ni Prinsesa Victoria. "You all have a partner except for me." Kasabay naman nito ang biglaang pagtabi sakin ni Prince City.
Hindi ko man lang namalayan na nasa likod ko lang siya... Isn't it awkward for him to sit beside me?
The fact that I rejected him yesterday... It makes me feel uncomfortable.
"Prince City should keep his distance to Princess Snow." Sabay inom nang tsaa ni Prinsesa Victoria. "After all, she rejected your love yesterday." I didn't mean it... I just don't have any feelings towards him.

"I thought she always sticks her body to my naughty sister?" Ang mga ngisi ni Prinsipe City ang nakapagpatayo nang balahibo ko.
"I do stick to your sister's side, Your Majesty." Nang tignan ko si Lady Rebel ay para bang bagot na bagot ito sa nangyayari.
"But it's because I'm her knight in the future." Ngumiti naman si Prinsipe City at nanatili kaming nanonood kung ano ang susunod na pagsasagutan nila.
"You truly treasure my stupid sister. How about, serve me instead?" Naibaba ko ang tsaa at napatigil. Napatingin kaming lahat kay Prinsipe City na nakangiti kay Lady Rebel.
"How about that?" Bakit pakiramdam ko ay pinapahiya na nang prinsipe ang sarili niyang kapatid?
"Primce City is such a high respected highness. I'm afraid that you don't need my service."
Kasabay nito ang marahang pagkuha ni Lady Rebel sa bewang ni Prinsesa Victoria.
"I'm sorry to bother you. But I have to take care of her majesty." Magalang na sambit niya bago sila umalis nang magkasama.
"Prince City, what exactly is that scene?" Mataimtim na tanong ni Lord Travelyan pagkaalis na pagkaalis nila Lady Rebel.
"Isn't it obvious?" Marahang hinalo ni Prinsipe City ang tsaang nasa harapan niya.
"I'm revealing my sister's true personality. Pero hindi ko alam na biglang dadating si Lady Rebel." Sagot ni Prince City.
"What for?" Ako na ang nagtanong.
Tumingin siya sakin tsaka tumingin sa kina Lady Scarce. "I'm the one who supposed to be the Emperor. But because of Victoria's selfish wish, she will become the Empress."
"And then?" Tanong ni Lord Harace na mukhang gustong malaman ang mga dahilan.
"What will happen if she became the Empress?" Tanong naman ni Lord Strauss. "I'm afraid... The Kingdom of Rowan will suffer." Did he mean...
"The First Kingdom?" Tumango naman siya sa sinabi ko. "Ano bang meron?" Tanong naman ni Lady Xiu.
"It's not the time to say. But in any case, I should inherit the throne. That's why I'm asking for your cooperation Princess Snow." Napatingin silang lahat sakin.
"An Empress without an Emperor will be nothing. As soon as you marry me, everything will be fine."

"Prince City," tumingin naman sila sakin.

"I will be your supporter until you inherit the throne." Determinado kong sambit na ikinangiti nang Prinsipe.
"Baka nakakalimutan niyong may problema kayo." Napatingin kaming lahat kay Lady Xiu.
"Lady Rebel is a well known swordswoman." Tumahimik naman kami.
"She's also HER future Knight. How will you supposed to beat her?" Tanong naman ni Lady Scarce.
"We need to get rid of her."
"You mean, kill her?"
"If that's the only way."
"You're nobles. Think of another way." Dahil una sa lahat ay hindi laging sagot ang pagpatay. "Actually, there's another way." Sambit naman ni Lord Travelyan.
"My wife should tell it. Siya ang nakaisip." Napatingin naman kaming lahat kay Lady Eunacia.
"How about convincing her to join our side?" Kumunot ang noo ni Prinsipe City.
"How?" Tanong niya na ikinatingin sakin ni Lady Eunacia. "Make her fall in love with Princess Snow." WHAT?!
"B-but they're both woman." Kabadong sambit ni Lady Scarce. Pero kalmado siyang pinagsabihan ni Lady Eunacia.
"Can't you see? Lady Rebel is different from any other women!" Indeed. Lady Rebel always care for another lady. I remember, Lady Rebel mentioned that she wanted to be a prince instead.
"Yo'n ay kung papayag lang naman si Prinsesa Snow."
"But isn't it deceiving?" Tanong ko sa kanya. Dahil kung sakaling mahulog nga sakin si Lady Rebel...
Hindi ba masasaktan siya?
"No Princess. It's all for the sake of another Empire. Think of it. Save one or save many?" Sa bagay ay may punto ang sinasabi niya pero...
"Am I the only candidate for this?" Sa tingin ko ay hindi ko kaya ang ganitong pasakit.

Napakuyom ako nang kamao dahil tama lahat ng punto ni Prinsipe City.
"Become a chess piece."
"Please think of it." Kasabay nito ang pagtayo ni Prince City at ang pag-alis niya sa table namin.
"Is it a tough decision Princess Snow?" Tanong naman sakin ni Lord Travelyan na ikinatingin nilang lahat sakin.
"Are you worried that you might fall for her too?"
"Don't fool around Lord Morris." Sabay buntong hininga ko. "In either way, you're at advantage. Think of it."
Natapos ang pagsasalo kaya naghiwa-hiwalay na kami. Sa pagakyat ko sa ikahuling palapag ay bumungad sakin si Prinsesa Victoria na ngayon ay nakangiti habang hawak-hawak ang kamay ni Lady Rebel.
"Are you worried that you might fall for her too?"
How can I fall for Lady Rebel? Alam kong una palang, mas nauna niyang makilala si Prinsesa Victoria kaysa sakin.
