Shocked, Yvette wanted to go out.
But the man did not trigger the elevator's sensor. Thus, the elevator door had already closed and the elevator started to go down.
The man stood next to her, wearing a baseball cap and mask, exposing no facial characteristics.
Yvette stood straight and stayed alert.
Time ticked by.
Yvette was keeping an eye on the screen displaying the floor they were on and the other eye on the man in the corner.
She did not even blink.
She saw the man looking around.
The elevators at the venue were all equipped with surveillance cameras with no blind spots. The man seemed to glance at the surveillance camera.
Yvette felt the time in the elevator was unbearably long.
Finally, the elevator reached the underground floor.
Yvette's legs became stiff.
"Ting."
The elevator door opened.
The man stood still as if he was waiting for her to go out first.
