Synopsis
In the second year of marriage, Yvette Thiel was pregnant.
Yvette was full of joy, but she got a divorce agreement.
In a car accident, Yvette lay in a pool of blood and begged Lance Wolseley to save their child, but Lance left with his sweetheart in his arms.
Yvette was disheartened and slowly closed her eyes.
Later, it was heard that Lance from New York had a taboo name, and no one could mention it.
At the wedding, Lance suddenly went crazy. He knelt on the ground and looked at the cruel woman with red eyes. "You are pregnant with my child. Who do you want to marry?"

It’s your soap opera with horrible clueless MLs and FLs who give up way too much to accommodate them. And unsurprising the FL has a mysterious unknown background. Seems to be more set in Asia but they keep talking about NYC. Could be so much better and the MLs really didn’t need to be so awful and possessive. The reason it still got 3 stars is I did find the writing very good (author is not a native English speaker but the pronoun mix ups are pretty minimal) and the overall story was fun. It was just tiring after the 3rd white lotus and 100th misunderstanding to separate the main characters.

I have been completely obsessed with this book. On the edge of my seat as I read learning more and more about the lives of these characters. Can't wait for the next few chapters! Please don't make me wait long!
good story line... i am liking more now when the women have become powerful ..
First of all, the book never ends. 665 chapters and then they abandoned it. They try to imply that it's in America. They were American cities. But everything about it screams China (including one chapter where they forgot to change the Chinese yuan to dollars). The things people do to one another over and over are highly illegal in the west. Things like that happen in China however. Almost every character gets kidnapped at least three times, there's an awful lot of violence, the understanding of what things are legal or illegal things that happen in business or don't happen in business is not there. It vacillates between sounding like a 14-year-old wrote it or a Narcissistic psychopath. Apparently, if somebody upsets you enough, you just send them to the mental institution. Of course this is if you have time from being in hospital. Everybody also ends up in hospital several times showing up with wounds of absolute torture and no one bats an eye. In the west the police or social services - anybody would've been called. In one chapter two characters out swam four piranhas which happened to be hanging around outside a cruise ship in the sea. If you don't know why this is ridiculous then this book is for you because you have no education. However, a lot of illness and disease even lameness can be healed with pills or ointment prescribed by a doctor. Your doctor may be a foreigner or just a lad who also runs the local pub prescribing pills from behind the bar. The translation from Chinese to English has been an adventure apparently. Somebody who would have a 'fit of depression' is translated to seizure so you have seizures with your depression. It is the most ridiculous and sick "book" I've ever read. There is great mystery around why the author stopped adding chapters apparently. My best guess is having read 300 chapters of this book, they've been kidnapped and locked in a mental institution being tortured, but it's okay the ointment will fix it all.
it's an amazing book only problem is going round in circles 😞 otherwise it does make you happy and other times sad,it's overally a thrill filled book
this book costs a fortune. it has not even been updated for 6 months and should hold a warning for customers that they are spending a fortune on a book that the author has abandoned and left hanging. this is a good story but dragged on too much repeating plots over and over to get more coins from readers, instead of author bringing it to a good conclusion. I wouldn't recommend wasting money on this unfinished book
Needs to be removed if it’s not going to be completed, so people like me aren’t waiting money on a book that doesn’t have an ending. It’s showing it hasn’t been updated in 4 months which is pathetic!
