Chapitre 14: Chapter 13
About five months have passed since the day I got the little flame belle who I decided to name Scarlet. I have mainly focused on her for the months. I had her to do many control exercises for her fire element. I had her make make shapes from the Fire, I had her make balls of fire and then made her even smaller versions of those, even had her take a leaf and made her only to burn the middle of the leaf. It was good that I did this as in the beginning her fire would usually go out of control. I had to to jobs like a madman to get more money to pay for her meals. To get souls I go back to Dunhuang. I usually go on Saturdays and Sundays. As for my other elements lightning, fire, shadow, and chaos stayed the same. For my space and summoning elements I broke through. They are in the advanced tier. I used the time to control there stars but I haven't completely controlled all of them yet. Anyway now that's over its time for the selections for the world tournament. I got called by the headmaster telling me that I got selected but I must participate in the preliminaries. I agreed. This was when monkey supposedly died. I know he won't die since he's not that weak.However the problem is the fact that the old farts brother is part of the black vatican. This will get out and Ningxue would be targeted for having the ice bow. I have gone through so many ideas but none worked.My illusions arnt able to change memories either as I haven't been able to replicate itachis tysukuyomi. The only thing I can do now is protect her when it's needed. What she is powerful in her own right. Only when she has to deal with opponents who she wants beat is when I step in or when she gets tired. I know how powerful she is. She isn't like those shounen wamine who are all weak. Anyway tomorrow is the start of the prelims which I will complete before leaving. Luckily for me I have to at least win 3 rounds to keep my spot as a starter. As for when Ningxue goes back I will go with her after telling the person in charge of the team. Mainly because I want to spend time with her and be able to use the three step pagoda. That place is a god send for cultivating.
The next I headed towards the stadium for the prelims. You remember when Ai Jiangtu sister came and impersonated to be me. Well I ain't letting that happen so I got here early. I meet with the team and we went to the first match. It was a landslide victory. I used my lightning element to help with taking out the opponents. The second match we also won as I used my space element to help the team win. No one knows that I am a advanced level mage as a wanted to keep this a secret to make people underestimate me. This well let lower there guard making them easier to defeat. Since that happened everyone now knows that I have 4 elements. Now it's time for the last match but before that happ3ned I got a text message that monkey had died. I kept my cool though as I knew that he was alive so I went into the stadium arena. Once the match started the fire mage on the other side used a fire fist. He was also had the chinese syndrome. To counter I used my own fire fist to cancel his. Then used a thunderbolt in the moment he was distracted to knock him out. I then use my space element to help my teammates beat the other team. Once finished I left the stadium. I then headed towards the airport to go to the Xianyang. I also called the headmaster and told where I am headed. I told him that I will make it back in time for the nationals so he said he will take care of it but I have to get back by then. I went passed the security for the airport before boarding the plane. On the plane I decided to to try controlling more of my space galaxy stars. I managed to control 5 before having to get off the plane. Once I exited the building I called out Fenrir before sitting on top of him then telling to where to go to get to the Ancient Capital. The capital was on high alert I new this the amount of guards I had to talk to do I could go inside.
Once I got inside I went to the Hunter Agency here to ask for information. I don't feel going with someone as when there is a beast in front of me I don't want to worry about protecting my teammates. I managed to find the shorty from the original and asked him questions on how to navigate through the terrain. He managed to give me some tips but came at a small cost but it was worth it. Once that was over I headed toward the entrance to go outside to find monkey.
I headed in the through the terrain using the navigation tips from shorty. I also created some birds using my hell fire and used them as scouts. Using them I managed to find the village where monkey was staying. I then headed there. Along the way i encountered many skeletons. Most were at warrior level which were easy to beat. I even got lucky to fight a commander level skeleton. I beat it by using a hell fire powered fire fist groundbreak. From then on I used my hell fire more often to get more experience. It was satisfying. I could make weapon, animals even clones using my domain.
After reaching the village I was greeted by the chief. He explained that they want to leave and go to the capital. This was a problem as it will take a while and the cluster of people will attract the skeletons. Sigh it might be gamble but taking the risk might be worth it. Since most of the other villages are also being destroyed it's best just to take the risk of getting them to the capital. I then told the chief that agreed to his proposal. This will work as when I meet monkey he is acting to cling to the girl and say he has no memories. By taking the village people to the capital she will come to which means he will follow.
After they packed up we then headed towards the capital. I brought out Fenrir and Raven to help with defense. I also made clones of my self to keep guard on the sides. As we headed back ran into some trouble but Fenrir and Raven were able to take of most of the skeletons. My clones also took care of most the skeletons that came near. As this was happening I had the little louch pendant absorb the souls of the skeletons.Along the way monkey decided to reveal himself.
It took a while bit we made to the entrance of the capital. Once there the gathering of old classmates happened. Even the dude with the lightning element this time since he didn't die. During the conversation I had the little louch refine the souls. Did you think I would forget? No I just stockpiled on most of my souls from the Dunhuang journey and waited for the louch to refine it. Best part most of them are warrior level. I then used the souls on my lightning to upgrade it to 49 stars. I did the same for my fire and space elements. I then used the rest on my shadow and chaos element to upgrade till 30 stars each. I still saved some for later because I am a cautious man. For my shadow element I used the refine souls before which allowed me to get my fleeing shadow to tier 6.
Anyway after that we headed to the outer walls. After a few minutes the sighting of the the warrior skeleton came. We then had to go deal with it. It was difficult since I couldn't use my techniques but I did use my space element to provide protection for others. After a while though I just became annoyed so when it was weak I used level 3 thunderbolt to end him and take his warrior soul. Later today should be when we head to the dark abyss. Oh the the souls I will be able to gain.
