This is an interesting story that’s well translated and updates often, however, I have some problems with it. • First of all, the protagonist is dark, greedy and manipulative to an extent I didn’t expect even after reading the synopsis. I figured it’d be necessary sacrifices to grow in strength, and towards his enemies. Not someone like Minato who, as Hokage, would treat the Uchiha better. The guy literally thought about offing him before he grew too much. He’s also trying to keep Minato away from Kushina which is too close to NTR for my taste. • Konoha is much darker here which isn’t a surprise from a translation, you can expect stuff that has little basis in canon coming up like Nawaki’s accident being set up, alongside Dan, and Minato being ordered to get close to their respective partners. • And finally, literally everything goes the protagonists way super easily with barely an inconvenience. “Oh! I got a perfected chimera technique and managed to survive against a powerful Kekkei Genkai as a Genin without the Sharingan while my Uchiha Chunin teammate conveniently started bleeding out of the eyes from using a C Ranked Genjutsu long enough for me to absorb the Kekkei Genkai.” “It’s super lucky that no one has connected the dots that I’ve got the same Kekkei Genkai as the guy we beat after telling the person who literally fought against the same guy.” “I’m also super glad that Tsunade must not have given the mission report or medical report to Hiruzen since literally no one cares about the Dual Kekkei Genkai Uchiha!” “Wow, it’s super lucky that I was put on a logistics task as a Genin during the war, I’m able to get close to Tsunade really easily here! It’s also super lucky that despite giving Tsunade intel about Nawaki, he still dies making her even more wary about the village! It’s not like it happened THE DAY AFTER SHE SAVED HIM.” “Oh it’s super lucky no one has seen through any of my manipulations, none of these elite Shinobi have checked with the source of my information or wondered why I conveniently say what they want to hear while they’re nearby!“ “Wow, I’m so glad my Kekkei Genkai started hurting me in front of Tsunade at Nawaki’s grave, allowing me to awaken the Sharingan and make her think it’s because of Nawaki dying that I acquired it when it’s actually because I was in pain for a second!” And there’s even more, like how Mikoto told Kushina about her classified mission to get close to her allowing him to do the same or that Tsunade conveniently had his book to give Kushina after finding out he was attracted to her. and all this is done in 30 CHAPTERS of what’s probably a 300+ chapter story. It's all a bunch of little straws that break the camel’s back for me. If you can disregard or like his plot armor and personality, I think you’d like this story. The concept is super cool after-all, but even the best concept can’t carry a story.
