Looking at the green flame which still didn't vanish and his troops looking at it warily Leo released a tired sigh.
He didn't think the fire would remain, and he didn't know where to keep it so he tried to absorb it via Pyrokinehe suddenly felt a cold and eerie sensation but he felt that it was not harming him so he continued to absorb it the troops were looking at him with confusion as they didn't understand what the chief was but they knew he knew what he was doing so they just observed.
After some time the flames were completely absorbed and Leo felt that he now could now have complete control over those flames as he could create them and manipulate them at will.
Previously, he had to fight for control over the flames of the dragon and only won due to the dragon's intelligence and strength being lower than his, now he felt even if the dragon was stronger he would be able to manipulate the flames.
After that Leo ordered the troops to go back to the village as they were more of a burden than support.
Obviously, he would not say that to their face as it would be too discouraging and it was not even their fault after all they were not made to fight dragons.
They obviously didn't want to go back as they wanted to help their Chief but Leo told them to go back and prepare for level-up, which was true.
Archers became level ten which was an increase of 7 seven levels and the Elite Barbarians became level level 15 which was a very nice increase they would be at least 5 times stronger than before.
Such an increase in levels was not easy, there were several factors behind this, the first being a life-threatening situation, considering they faced two stronger members of the Skeleton Family it was bound to increase, not to mention the Barbarians managed to kill one big boy and at least hundreds of Skeletons which was not easy even for Elite Barbarians, yes there were several factors like Elixir Golems tanking most of the hits and helping them and me helping them.
Archers did less damage to the undead but they helped which was an undeniable fact.
For some reason when a troop increases their levels by large levels or when their next level appearance is different (like in the game), they would need to sleep and the only reason they were not sleeping here was due to me controlling their energies.
(It is similar to evolutionary sleep.)
As they reluctantly went back with my Elixir Golems guarding them, this was a good thing about them that they would not vanish unless they had magic which should last for at least 5-6 hours which is more than enough for them to reach the village.
After they had gone away Leo looked at the notifications received during the battle.
[Hidden Quest Dragon Slayer Completed - Defeat/Kill a Dragon.
"Dead or alive it is still a dragon."
Completed- Due to the method of defeating the dragon additional rewards will be granted.
Rewards - Map to Dragon Cliffs, 1 X Dragon Card, Dragon Slayer Title acquired.]
[Dragon Slayer: You gain 5% buff when fighting against dragons and damage done by dragon's breath will be reduced by 5 %.]
"An extravagant title but a useful one. However, I hope I will not need to use it soon." Leo muttered looking at the title's description.
The map was good as he can get some dragon DNA/ Elixir when his Town Hall upgrades to level 7.
And Dragon Card was cream on top though now he is in dilemma whether to assimilate the card or summon it.
A Dragon will be a good addition to his army multiplying his village's strength many times as he has seen the power of a Skeleton Dragon and it was only level 5, not to mention it was an unnamed one.
"I will think about it later." Stated as he looked at the other notifications.
[You have killed a skeleton dragon using Undead Flames, and you have acquired [Summon: Skeleton Dragon (???)]
"Is, the system reading my mind or something?" He asked though he was feeling very giddy about this as he checked the skill, he would not mind the system reading his mind if it gave him what he wanted.
[Skill: Skeleton Dragon (???)
Type: Summoning
Summons the Skeleton Dragon (???) To fight along with the Host.
The Skeleton Dragon (???) Is similar to troops and functions the same way as the troops including leveling and accommodation.
The host can summon the Skeleton Dragon (???) At any time at any place.
It doesn't need to eat anything except Sour Elixir can be replaced with Magic given by the the Host.
Skill Level -5 (Proportional to the level of the dragon it affects the cost of magic for summoning.)
Summoning Cost: 5000 Magic
If the dragon dies you will not be able to use skill for one month.
And resummoning will cost 30,000 Magic during that duration.]
"Damn, this is an amazing skill Undead Fire is an overpowered thing, man," Leo exclaimed in fascination as he immediately thought of using Undead Flames for all his finishing attacks from now on, the magic cost wasn't a problem as he could just summon it earlier and treat it like a troop though he would have to feed his magic as he didn't know anything about Sour Elixir other than Clashoween.
Then he looked at question marks and asked "Hey Sys, what are these question marks for?"
[It is if the host wants to name the Skeleton Dragon/Skill.]
"Oh, that's great but I will think about it later." He exclaimed then started looking back at the notifications.
[You have gained Xp]
[Level Up!] X 10 (Killing 1000 skeletons, 5 XBig Boys (Troops killed some), 1 Skeleton Dragon)
[Congratulations! You are now level 45]
"Probably, killing the skeletons played the biggest role after all they sure came in thousands." That was all he could say.
But leveling up is something he will never reject as it increases his overall strength perfectly.
However, the next notification made him freeze.
[Hidden Quest King of Slaughter Completed- Slaughter 1000+ lifeforms in a minute.
"Anyone who stands in my way will fall."
You have killed 1000+ life forms in an hour.
Reward- Killing Intent.]
"This thing doesn't make me feel good at all." Leo was sweating as he looked at his kill count surely he didn't feel anything about killing them because they were undead and it wasn't the first time he had taken someone's life but the quest made him feel like a genocidal maniac.
[Host, don't think much about it. They were your enemies and you killed them and you should not feel bad about getting this title as it shows your strength. If you were a genocidal maniac then you would have completed something like a genocidal maniac.]
Leo felt a bit relieved he long had known he would have to kill someone (Human or beings with sentience/intelligence) as he had done in a previous life and till now while he didn't consider them in that category he still felt bad after looking at the title that showed he had killed 1000 of sentient life forms which are same as humans, he would have a mental breakdown if not for the appearance of the Skeletons which thankfully was similar to the games and the fact he was used to killing albeit they were beasts.
(I don't know what I wrote here but think it's like that Mc was a bit confused between monsters and human-type lives.)
"Aaagh! Fuck it! We will see in the future." Leo did the best thing he could come up with after that he again started looking at his gains after all overthinking will not bring him any good.
[Killing Intent (Level 4)- The remnant of the magic of the beings you kill becomes your killing intent it can cause your opponent (if their strength is weaker than him) to fear you.
Exudation: You can give off killing intent in a similar fashion to a frightening presence, which will very likely affect your opponents and even the environment in some cases. Higher level killing intent can achieve a variety of effects like paralyzing the victims in fear at the simplest level and causing them to morbidly hallucinate their own deaths, or even kill them by forcing the mind to believe their death is a reality in more severe cases.]
Leo could already think of several uses for this it can help him defend himself in fights too and sense someone's killing intent was similar to precognition of where the opponent will attack sure if they could conceal their killing intent it was a different matter.
[You have killed big boys using Undead Flames, and you have acquired [Summon: Big Boy (???)]
[Skill: Big Boys X 5 (???)
Type: Summoning
Summons the Big Boys X 5 (???) To fight along with the Host.
The Big Boy (???) Is similar to troops and functions the same way as the troops including leveling and accommodation.
The host can summon the Big Boy (???) At any time at any place.
It doesn't need to eat anything except Sour Elixir can be replaced with Magic given by the the Host.
Skill Level -10 (Proportional to the level of the troop it affects the cost of magic for summoning.)
Summoning Cost: 1000 X 5 Magic]
[You have also earned the title of Bad Uncle due to killing Big Boy their 'Mommy' will be furious you will need to calm them down.]
Bad Uncle- You killed a 'little' boy.
Gives you an affinity with 'mothers'.
It depends on circumstances how the situation will escalate.]
This notification made Leo want to check whether he was a Summoner or not.
And the last title felt like the system was mocking him, though he didn't know that this title will do a lot.
