Chapitre 306: Azalea Town (2)

They eventually arrived at Azalea Town after a week of delay. They hadn't seen a human settlement for some time, but Iris could feel the heavy stare of the humans as they passed through the local market to replenish their supply before continuing their journey to Eldoris. 

Most residents of Azalea Town were humans, and though their group spotted a few darklings in the crowd, they knew they were only passing this town as it was part of the mercenary route around Asnar. They paid little attention to them, but they noticed how humans here looked at darklings with reverence and awe, contrasting to what humans from Midgard would do whenever they saw or heard about them. 

"Something is off with them," Chrysanthe commented, frowning as she couldn't pinpoint what it was. 

Amelia nodded in agreement. "These humans looked like they were under a spell or something."
