Chapitre 20: MY WOMAN
Police report came and ruled out robbery. Instead a wild animals were to blame. Selena's house was almost tore down. They have no place to stay for a while.
Luke offered his home in Stronghold Village. But Selena refused. She can't let her mother run around far away from her. She knows Erin and she loves the woods. Most of their things in their tea and herbal shops freshly came from woods and Selena knows how dangerous the woods near the Stronghold Village. And so Luke offered his bachelor pad to them. Selena tried to refuse again but he didn't let her.
"Selena, if you keep refusing we will end up sleeping on the street". Erin don't understand why her daughter keep on refusing an honest help.
"Mom, we cannot bother Mr. Stronghold. He is a very busy man". Selena is scolding her mother.
"Selena.... I won't mind if you keep on bothering me. And I can tell Syl to manage my business meetings so that I can be with you if you need me". Luke is contradicting Selena's words. He tried to read between the lines.
"See... Luke is a very nice man. He won't mind". Erin chuckled. There's something about him that makes Erin trusted him immediately.
"Why are you calling Mr. Stronghold in his first name?".
"Because that's his first name. Am I right young man?". She wait till he nods.
Selena gave up and felt irritated. Her mother have or can create any reason if she wants to. In all of their conversations she's always the one holding the end of the stick.
Stronghold Academy the next day.
The other students went back to the Academy later. Luke didn't bring back Selena to their Village. He knows she won't leave her mother's side for the sake of her grades.
"Hey Selena.... I heard some wild animals use your house as a battle ground!". Kevin is being a nuisance.
"Ha ha ha.... Funny!". Selena made a dry laugh. Kevin is such a kid always making stupid comments.
"Yeah, I also heard three large wolves won!". Clint followed Kevin's childish comment.
"They are all huge wolves, six of them actually. But the three larger wolves who save our house". She paused recalling how their house was almost torn down. "Almost save our house, won". She said in a serious tone.
"That is way so cool to watch.... Aren't they great?". Kevin said with an great excitement in his eyes.
"Didn't you got scared?". Mark who was just listening on the side with Sam have a hint of concern in his eyes.
"Of course I was!". She said quickly.
"You got scared by the wolves?". Sam blurted out what's on his mind.
"Not really.... I only got scared for my Mom's safety. Besides I think those wolves who save our house were kind a cute... I feel like I want to pet them one day!". She said cheerfully.
Selena is getting along with the four guys who bullied her before by using her favorite food. She already forgave them anyway. She wants to think of them like her new found brothers. 'Four rascals as my brothers, not bad'.
L. S. Corporation.
Luke, his Beta and the warriors who got involved in the fight were all in his office. They are mind linking to the four young lads. Luke is very worried about Selena's condition. He don't want her to have a fear for wolves. It will be very difficult for him to pursue her if she formed a phobia from his kinds. The four lads are feeding them informations about Selena's insight. When they told them that Selena thinks that the wolves who save their house were cute and she wants to pet them Luke growled in anger. He got very jealous. Drew wanted to laugh out loud but tried to suppressed it so hard. He don't want his Alpha to unleash his wrath on him. The other warriors seems to blush. The acknowledgement from their future Luna is already a great achievement for them.
Stronghold Academy.
"Hey bitch!".
The loud voice echoed in the hallway and all heads turned to it's direction.
"Here comes the Spoiled Princess!". Selena scorn.
Quin is rushing towards her and anger is showing on her face literally.
The four lads beside Selena moved forward and she end up behind them. As if they are protecting her. They can sense Quin's ill intention.
"How dare you moved to Luke's house. You slut!.... How did you seduce him, you ugly whore!". Quin wants to use all the awful words she knows against her. She's flaming in anger.
The lads in front of Selena are glaring at Quin intensely. They're starting to growl lowly and Selena seems to noticed it. She tried to shove them away.
"What's your problem Quin?". Selena crossed her arms in front of her chest.
"You ugly slut, how dare you seduce Luke?". Quin is furious.
"How dare I?". She chuckles. "I think the right word is HOW DARE YOU!". Selena is not showing any care to Quin's anger.
"You!". Quin's words hang in the air. She forgot what to say next.
"Yapping here calling me names. Who gave you the right to do so?". Selena blurted out beating Quin. Her voice is louder than before. "Who the hell do you think you are?.... Luke's girlfriend?". She was glaring at her. Saying the word GIRLFRIEND but referring not to herself makes her more angry.
Mark and his friends are in awe. They are glad that their future Luna is not a push over. Through their mind link to Luke they are sending information and the current situation at once as if they are narrating a scene from a movie.
"I am supposed to be his girlfriend.... I saw him first!". Quin won't lose face, she still fights back.
Selena rolled her eyes. "What is he, a toy that you can just claim because your the one who saw him first... That's outrageous!".
"Yes!". Quin paused realizing what she just said answered. "I mean he is my man".
"Oh really..... I didn't heard anything like that from him?". Selena is now mocking Quin. "The last time I checked he is so SINGLE.... Hmm... I think I should asked him again".
"You better stay away from him bitch!". Quin is in rage. She can't believed a nobody like her can actually beat and stole the position of future Mrs. Stronghold in her hands.
"I wish I could but as you know I'm currently staying at his house". Selena said it as if it was an ordinary thing.
Quin is at her limit. Her hand rise up and tried to slap Selena. But to her surprise Selena caught her hand before her palm reaches Selena's face.
"Wrong move!". Selena moved forward while squeezing her arm and Quin felt a pain starting to claim her.
She gave Quin her sweetest smile as her face was inches away from her. "I have no plans of moving out from his house in the near future". Selena can see Quin's face starting to wrinkle. Her hand is hurting because of her. "Besides Luke is too DELICIOUS to be given away to any bitches. So I will keep him for myself instead". Then Selena lick her own lips in front of Quin before pushing her down.
Quin left on the floor with eye wide in shocked. "Slut!.... Bitch!". She keeps on cursing her.
Selena turned and walk away. "Yeah, yeah!". She answered Quin back. She's waving the back of her hand to her then do a dirty finger. 'Who said she's a nice girl anyway'. Her lips twitched up with that thought.
The four lads followed behind her after giving Quin a threatening look. They are grinning mischievously. They looked like a pack lead by her.
Selena stopped in front of their classroom and face her considered rascal brothers. "If anyone of you tell Luke what I just said earlier..... I WILL KILL YOU..... Literally!". She threatened them.
"I didn't hear anything". Mark said.
"Me too!". Sam followed.
Selena looked at Kevin and Clint.
"Did something happened?..... Sorry were too busy with our games". The two played ignorance.
Selena smiled and head first leaving the four outside the door.
"Oh well!". The four of them shrugged their shoulders. They already informed their Alpha everything.
L. S. Corporation.
Luke is grinning and have a very satisfying look on his face. He was rubbing his chin and in his head playing the words his spies told him.
'Luke is too DELICIOUS and she will keep him instead!'.
He laughed out loud like a mad man. "My Mate is too naughty!". He said out loud he doesn't care if his Beta and warriors can hear him.
"What about the blondie?". Drew knows Luke won't let her off easily.
"She's lucky her father is a good man or else I'll snap her neck in an instant. But still try to warn Peter to put a leash on his daughter and tried not to bother MY WOMAN again". Luke became too serious and a glit of anger sparks in his eyes.
