"Why is it always them…?" Noah muttered in exasperation, his gaze first falling on the grouped-up students in the distance. However, his attention was quickly drawn to Fenrir, who still held a woman in his jaws, the woman having passed out once again. The sight puzzled him, but his confusion deepened as he observed the other guards nearby, all clad in similar attire and armed with guns.
Intent on opening the window, Noah exerted more force than he realized. The window shot open abruptly, accompanied by the shattering sound of breaking glass as shards flew in all directions. Instinctively, Noah closed his eyes and shielded his face with his hand, bracing for the pain of glass cutting into his skin. Yet, to his surprise, there was no pain at all.
When he cautiously opened his eyes, he found himself unscathed, not a scratch on his face or hand despite the chaos of shattered glass surrounding him.
