Six years had gone by slowly.
House Radahn has kept marching foward. After returning to The Erdtree ( castle name) after the rebellion I swiftly recalled my children Xavier and Malenia from Braavos. I missed them dearly and it saddens me that I had to send them away before.
Aemon was the perfect heir I could ask of. He somehow gained the respect and devotion of the smallfolk.
With the introduction of Essosi to Westerosi in my land it began a shift from the traditional Westerosi way. They brought with them their many gods to worship as well.
As the lord of my lands I have rights to what can be worshipped on my lands. I ordered that any religion can be practiced as long as it is a private affair. No burnings, no human sacrifices and no religious military orders.
Temples of worship can be built but no missionary work on my lands. Imagine my surprise when I saw temples being built gods like The Lion of the night, The Maiden of light, surprising the Rhillorists were not amongst them and I quickly outlawed them before they could arrive.
In Essos those guys are crazy. I don't need them here too.
Publically and to my family I worship the Old gods but only I know that I am trying to reestablish contact with The Faceless One. My hopes for escaping this univese lies in his hands.
The magic of this world is descent but not enough for world travelling. If I head to another world by ingesting their blood I'll get the capabilities of their world through biokinesis.
At least in theory. Aemon started his training in arms one year after I came back.Because of glass production Myr sent some Sorrowful men to assasinate me .Myr finally worked out a contract between them and my family. Only after a few of my people were killed in the attempt to end me. The realmn just watched and did not aid me in the battle against Myr.
I was more blatant about my attacks. Instead of assasins I hired ten average sellsword companies to sack Myr. Cost about 20000 gold dragons but I did not care. They did not succeed but they disrupted their trade. Stole ships with goods and food bringing some to me while keeping some for themselves.
Myr was sieged for three months before we started negotiating a cease fire. The stipulations were:
1. We are not allowed to sell glass cheaper than Myr in Essos for the next fifty years.
2. No hostility between the two domains. No soldier of Myr is to step foot in Limgrave and the same goes for Residents of Limgrave.
3. 1000 ship builders will be sent to Limgrave to build a fleet and 400 miners to find find deposits and mine.
4. An exchange of glass techniques will take place.
5. Myr will send 10 blacksmiths skilled enough to reforge Valyrian steel to Limgrave where they can each take three apprentices each.
6. An alliance will be sealed in blood between House Ragnar and House Ormollan as Antaryes Ormollan and Malenia Ragnar will marry on their 18th nameday. As per agreement Antaryes is marrying into the Ragnar family and their first two children will have the Ragnar name while the third will be a scion of House Ormollan.
This treaty allows for military and economic aid on both sides should there be need.
7. Should any of these terms be violated the offending party must pay a sum of 3 million gold dragons with the Iron Bank as a guarantor.
Just like that Myr and I came to terms and started working together. My little girl was very annoyed when she heard it and attacked her old man with a stick.
Eventually she forgave me and moved on. At this time the Baratheon dynasty was on shaky legs and anything could bring it down.
(Personally she just needs at least one child and I can help her arrange an 'accident')
Years dragged on and slowly Limgrave was turning into the city of my dreams. Thanks to skilled workers amongst us from Essos we have a drainage system encompassing the entire island. There are schools run by learned men and women teaching my people how to read and write.
Some go on to study warcraft, economics and agriculture. By mistake I created a middle class who helps keep my isle afloat.
I rose up two more castles at the Easy and West of the isle to help defend and block passage to the isle. I plan for those castles to be given to Malenia and Xavier's lines creating a branch of our house.
They will grow and support each other as my plan is that we will be the only nobles on this island. Sure they can be some knights but only House Ragnar has dominion over Limgrave.
'My lord. A raven from Kings Landing.' said my secretary Marlene. A smallfolk woman who knew her letters and is quite smart and dilligent. She efficiently handles my letters, schedules and overall after my heirs she has the most importance in my keep.

Hmmm a letter from Jon Arryn calling us to war.
Lord Ragnar,
The Ironborn have rebelled against the Crown. Successfully burning all the ships at Lannisport while sacking the city and launching raids along the Westerlands coasts.
The reach was also attacked at the Arbor but was thrown back by the Redwyne Fleet. The Riverlands are being raided also.
The North was also hit but the Manderlys and Reeds managed to defend against them.
This is a call to arms. You are expected to sail and give aid to the Riverlands before joining to attack The Iron Islands.
