Fang Yuan nodded and then turned around, walking back. The guard raised his eyebrows in surprise and wanted to stop, but Fang Yuan's words stopped his actions.
"I will be guarding the city here with you."
Fang Yuan didn't take that decision quickly but had thought about it since the incident. Since he no longer lacked resources for his cultivation, he was in no hurry to find something to replace.
The admission competition was approaching fast, and just cultivation wouldn't allow him to get admission into the city's major sects. It would just qualify him to pass the first requirement of cultivation.
The Mutou world flew ten times slower, so he had twenty extra hours of training, and Fang Yuan decided to focus on that for the next year since the admission competition.

Fang Yuan breathed a sigh of relief while his eyes were filled with excitement. He had thought that he would be at the peak of the third level of Qi refining before the competition, but just now, he broke the barrier and stepped into the fourth level.
There was a great difference between the third and fourth levels of Qi refining compared to the difference between the second and third levels. It was because stepping into the fourth level meant crossing the entry barrier and stepping into the middle of the level.

Fang Yuan didn't like his relatives much, but Fang Tian was the complete opposite. Whenever he desperately needed money, his relatives lent him the required amount.
