"You like the view?" Epraim said as he stood beside her.
"Yeah, they're like fireflies and stars."
Epraim glanced at the golden glow of the urban landscape before turning his body to face her. His gaze fell on her long eyelashes, galactic purple eyes, slender nose, and painted lips. "Pretty right? You'll never get tired watching them."
Sonia nodded before shifting her gaze to the horizon. The stars could barely be seen, but the moon was captivating with its silvery lights and ethereal glow.
Sonia took a deep breath and closed her eyes, knowing what she had to do later on. When the image of Devan popped in her mind, she sighed.
Epraim watched her blink before looking at the back of her waist. He moved closer to her making their elbows touch. "Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?"
"Accompanying me here is more than enough," she said in a low voice before peeking at him.
