Écrire un avisI can count on one hand the number of reviews that I have made for books that I have read. I do not typically do a review, not because the books I have read are not good, but rather because there are few novels that I believe are worthy of such outspoken support instead of the silent support of continued reading. This novel has the qualities needed to be great. The plot is well planned, the characters are well rounded and the world background is well described. Everything has has been meshed and molded together in such a well thought out design that does not feel forced, having been info-dumped, nor like there is too little info. It is a smooth flowing story without the bumps and jumps that most stories have to mystify readers. It also show the multiple sides of a person, in both a formal and informal way, in professional and personal situations and relationships. Finally it shows how much a person goes through to balance being a leader and a family (wo)man.
It has potential, but it has some points that should be improved in my opinion. The MC is very passive, has no ambition. I understand that caution is necessary, but there is a fine line between caution and cowardice. If the MC had ambition, he would look for more women to marry, so his power would increase. With more power the MC would expand his territory, his fame would increase, and more notable women would appear to be his concubine, so his power would exponentially increase the amount of women he has, like a snowball. Currently the MC just waits for someone to attack, then fight back, his only desire is to keep his rural town. It's really disappointing to see a novel with so much potential go down this path. Without power everything he has can be taken away at the whim of the powerful, ambition is a basic need in this kind of chaotic world.
Surprisingly good story. Trully a hiden gem. It is a pity that there are no more chapters... The mc seems to be actually smart enough, and the progress of the story is rather consistent. The world itself and its people looks interesting too. So far I only found one tiny little plothole, but it's not that important. What I mean is that the core power of the mc comes from his wives and children. The more he has, the better for him. Under such a situation any person would increase such numbers as much as possible, but not the mc. Or at least not for a while. And the only explanation we get for that is that the mc is too lazy to search for more... Well, it's not very believable, but then again it's not that important in the story. Anyway, I totally recomend it.
The synopsis sounds familiar... Is it similar to a xianxia novel "Eternal life begin with taking a wife"???
It started out okay but after 60-70 chapters things grew rushed and way out of proportion, with insane powerups and his wives and children being relegated to little more than numbers. Novels like this, with powerups related to social interaction, should have at least some kind of attempt at character growth and interactions between characters, in my opinion. Despite these problems, the writing quality and world background are very good for WN standards.
Great book, my only issue is that there are too few chapters Writing Quality ★★★★★ Stability of Updates★★★☆☆ Story Development★★★★★ Character Design ★★★★☆ World Background ★★★★★
I just caught up to chapter 271 and If im be completely honest with you this is one of the best novels I’ve read on here. You should give this a try 8/10🔥 Main thing I didn’t enjoy is how hands off the MC is, I wanna see bro be a leader or grow into it, (bro had change isn’t chapter 1 just more shameless) and really do stuff and not just throw money at everything But other wise I enjoyed it.
Great read you can tell the world is planned and not last-minute additions. The update once a day it looks like. At first, I thought it would be a cheesy system harem. But it definitely stands out and is not one.
The only problem with this book is the rate chapters are released. This book makes me want more and more.
Feels rushed at first with the time skips early in. Gets much better though. Would put this in my top 10. Just my library has over 100, so that’s pretty good.
I would like to say " this novel is not great but still it's a great" (?) (Idk what I'm sayin xD) Anyway If you like fast paced novel, almost no necessary drama as far as I know, Kingdom building progression ,Cultivation (?) less dialogues more narrations it like I'm reading a summarize biography/history which is great that could save your time reading (it's worth it) and also even if you dislike harem I think you still like this novel where theres no necessary drama, there's romance elements but it feels like there's none at same time because of lack of relationship developments and dialogues (summarized) so you could enjoy it also for harem lovers you still also like based on my expirience reading this novel. I hope author will gonna make it through the end I like this novel and pls don't change your writing style on this novel and still the same .
Good story Some might not like it coz it's a fast paced story, like really fast but understandable that it appeals to those interested in such stories One thing is lack of fight scenes, which is good for me as I occasionally skip fight scenes and it doesn't matter to me that much MC is smart System is balanced by the 90 match rate requirement Nice work author, interesting story so far, hopefully it keeps going that way

Well what can I say at ch. 140 I had this at a 4/5 now at ch. 250 it's only 3/5. The main reasons why I downgraded it is because the action scenes are either completely skipped or feel more like summaries. 50% of the last 100 chapters are about the mc selling and reselling things which just gets boring and repetitive over time. And the Mc is just altogether very lazy because the system gives him like 99% of things. But it's still good if you just want something to read while waiting for the chapters of your favourite novel. And I know that the lackluster fight scenes are probably because the author is maybe just not so experienced in writing them and that's understandable but what's not understandable is that he doesn't even try to write them and just skipping them.
