Chapitre 15: Chapter 15: Unfriendly Hair

Rilian seemed flustered enough that he had taken my hand to guide me to the elevator, and I whipped my head side to side to ensure no one was looking as we went.

"Jeez, that guy can talk," Rilian grumbled, and he pressed the 'office' button repeatedly as if it would make the doors close any faster.

I shuffled awkwardly. I wanted to ask him more about his father. He had only given me vague details until then, but I could see it was not a topic he was comfortable with. I was about to say something when I was suddenly distracted by his change of clothes.

Rilian looked just like the night I met him: a cuffed white t-shirt with torn jeans and that same leather jacket tied around his waist by the sleeves. Looking closer, I could see the detail in his tattoos that rolled down his right arm, stopping at his wrist where a golden raven was branded onto him.

"So, why all the gold and ravens?" I asked.
