Chapitre 72: chapter 72
--MC POV--
"Have you found anything" I asked the others as we all came back to the hall after checking the whole school.
"I didn't smell anything" said Ethan.
He proposed to help us as he wanted to enter our group.
I won't say a part of me was unwilling, but even I know that too many people died, and a part of those deaths is on me.
Ethan lost his brother and all he has is Danny, who is his boyfriend and not a family member. He is alone and it seems that with the death of his brother he lost his alpha power too.
It probably has something to do with the fact that he gained the spark while he was fused in one big werewolf with his twin.
"From what my father said he was hurt and right now he should be bleeding" said Stiles.
"Yeah, and from what people said he had a tumour full of flies too. Are we sure we aren't following a chimera?" Asked Isaac.
"No, he is real, and I know he is still here as the buzzing sound keeps increasing" At this point Lydia, differently from the start, is quite confident in her abilities and she can now trust them and use them to her advantage.
"I'm in with Lydia. Deaton said that new supernatural beings will come, so we must have an open mind and use our resources to the best to resolve the problems ahead of us. Lydia never got anything wrong till now and I'm sure that this time too she is right" I said, and all others seemed to agree with my word.
"What do we do with the murderer than? The police are leaving, and we too didn't find anything." Said Boyd and indeed this is a difficult question.
We have no idea what the enemy's abilities are, and we don't even know where he is. To find him we would need to separate further and this would give him the chance to assault us individually.
"He has the advantage in this situation, I think we should make a temporary retreat" said Allison.
"Are we going to leave him here alone with all the students? He could kill someone" said Scott and for me it is the same, if I have a choice I would prefer to not leave the other students in danger.
"We could make all of them get out of here by using the fire alarm" proposed Stiles and I think this one is the best option, but before we could do anything the fire alarm rang by itself.
"Seems like someone beat us".
--Ann Evans POV--
"Isn't Kira with you" I asked Ken surprising him.
"What are you doing here? Were you the one, who activated the fire alarm?" he asked.
"Yes, I'm sure that Barrow is here".
"You made sure no one saw you activate it, right?"
"Obviously I did. You may be my stepfather, but I would like to remind you I'm older than you are. I used an illusion, no one saw me." I said although I understand that he may find it difficult to remember as I am a gorgeous young woman.
"So, are you going in there to look for him now that the school is empty?" Asked Ken.
"No, that's so much of a bother. I will just stick to Kira and wait for him to come" I said.
"Why should he come after Kira".
"He is weakened right now. I'm sure he needs a strong source of energy to get back some power and the best way to get it is to use the fox fire of a young and oblivious thunder kitsune. So, where is she now?" as I finished my explanation, Ken understood the gravity of the situation and his face got scared.
"She should be in the library" he said and I immediately left using my illusion to make sure people wouldn't see me running at an inhuman speed.
Soon I reached the library and saw Kira, but she was not alone.
Near her there was a young man, who I recognized as Scott McCall, her school crush.
"Kira!" I shouted as I approached the two.
"Ann? What are you doing here?" She asked, probably scared that I came here to tease her again. Does she think I have that much free time?
"I was just scared for you when I heard the news that there was a possibility for the murderer to be here, did you not hear the fire alarm? You father told me I would have found you here" I said, and she got relieved knowing I wasn't here to suck her despair.
"I was hearing music with my headphones" she said.
Right, she is a fan of metal.
"And you, what are you still doing here?" I asked to Scott.
"Hmm… I was looking for her too" he said, bringing me a smile.
He seems to be interested in my sister too, at least this time it isn't a unilateral love.
"That was such a sweet thing to do, but it could be dangerous as there may be a fire. Anyway, I'm happy that you care about Kira this much, how about having dinner with us? I would like to know more about my niece's new crush… I mean new friend, silly me." Kira's expression got worse than it was earlier when I finished speaking.
While I didn't come here for bulling her, I never said I wouldn't do it now that I'm here.
"Yes I would be happy to join you" Replied Scott.

"You have never eaten sushi, have you?" asked Noshiko, my mother, to Scott as he was looking at the plate in front of him.
"Is it all raw?" he asked while pointing a the food.
"Not the rice" said Ken jokingly.
"Oh my god guys! we were supposed to have lasagna tonight" complained Kira.
"I was trying to impress, I didn't want to bring out the… you know what I'll make lasagna" said Ken, but he was interrupted by Scott.
"Oh no, no, no. It's okay I can try. It would be nice to experience new things."
Luckily for him he accepted the sushi or I would have thrown him out and ate the sushi by myself. After all, if there is one thing I recognise about Ken it is that his sushi is the fabulous.
The dinner went on, although I had to stand the flirting between the two, as Kira taught Scott how to use the chopsticks. I want pain not love! For me love posses a very sour smell.
"So, can you cook Scott? I'm sure you would have more chances with Kira, if you are good at it. I'm quite sure that mom was conquered by Ken's sushi" I said, and I could already taste the despair coming from Kira as I kept hinting about a possible relationship between them.
How good it is to be an ass with my sister.
"I can always learn" He said hinting that he was interested in her and ruining my plan as Kira became again all lovey dovey.
The dinner finished soon fortunately, although my sushi was ruined as it was mixed with the smell and sight of the couple flirting.
After eating a pizza that they ordered, Kira accompanied Scott outside, while I waited near them hidden.
It didn't take long for Barrow to appear behind them and hit Scott in the head, I could have stopped him, but I'm quite sure that Scott is some kind of shapeshifter and he won't suffer any long lasting damage.
That's what he gets for ruining my meal.
Anyway, before he could reach for my sister, I placed her in an illusion in which Barrow run away and I run after him, when in reality I grabbed Barrow's arm, which was about to grab Kira and then I dragged him away, while he kept screaming.
What a big cry-baby that he is.
(I know I'm late, but let's look at the positive side. Tomorrow I'll post the first chapter of my Harry Potter fan-fic. I've been trying to make it better than this one. There will be no more POVs and chapters will be longer from the start.)
