Arogath visibly flinched. He restlessly moved back and forth in his chair and asked. "How may I help you today Jasmine?"
"I'm here bearing gifts from my master. Since you've been so kind to me these years! Please, take it!" Jasmine said, handing her master a totem from her deity.
"Why thank you Jasmine, you didn't have to!" Arogath said and tried his best to receive the totem without making a face.
"How could I not, you helped me, took me in and taught me all I know! This is the least I can do, master~" Jasmine said, giving him her kindest smile.
"I'll treasure it!" Arogath reluctantly said.
"Good, just don't try to get rid of it, I'll know!" she said.
Arogath coughed a bit and said. "Now then, I heard you're leaving today, is that true?" Arogath said, changing the subject.
"Ah, yes. I look forward to going home again. I've been longing to return ever since I left months ago. Please do visit. I'd love to host you, master~" Jasmine said.
"I'll think about it. Oh dear, look at the time. Well, I must be going now!" Arogath said, hurriedly standing up and storming out of his own room. The totem tightly clenched in his right hand.
Jasmine's blue eyes remained on her teacher's desk. A grin plastered on her innocent face.
Lifting her staff, she casted a curse on the desk. Anyone who touched it, would get an infection on the body part that came into contact. It would make them scratch their body parts irresistibly. Simple, yet irritating. Nothing foul about it and could be seen as a prank. She couldn't do more yet, she was too young and weak. With no backing, but soon, soon she would take her revenge.
Jasmine left her master's office and walked towards her room. She grabbed her secret diary and took her spare clothes. She grabbed her luggage and money, then left.
Finally walking through the corridors, she felt emotional. This had been her home, she met Jasper here, she met Asiana and Harkotlh. Jack, even if he's dead. She had many fond memories of this place. The feeling of mystery and discovery she felt when she arrived. When Jasmine looks back she remembers just how frail and ignorant she was.
Jasmine traced the stone walls with her fingers. A tear she didn't know she had slowly flowed down her cheek and she smiled.
'It wasn't for long, but I'll miss you!' she thought and opened the door to the tower. She descended to the city and used her money to buy some supplies for her alchemy.
Jasmine groaned loudly when she realized she'd have to set up an alchemy table at home.
Using the last money she had, Jasmine's bordered a carriage that was going to Orkrasist to trade.
…
Jasmine starred at the ever shrinking city. The rowdy adventurers and merchants made loud noises, making it hard for Jasmine to concentrate. But she didn't mind.
Jantyr used this time to bring Jasmine up to speed. He told her about the adventure guild branch that's been built the months she's been gone.
"Please don't tell the others that I'm coming home. I want to see the village and experience it through the eyes of a normal person first. Before some stupid feast and what not!" Jasmine begged Jantyr.
"Very well, the villagers will have no clue that you're back. But you'll be noticed instantly if you go like that! I'd recommend you to cast some sort of spell to block their prying eyes from seeing you!" Jantyr proposed and Jasmine agreed. She is the noble and technical owner of the village. after all.
…
A girl with brown hair and a chubby face, brown eyes and 1.5 meter short, got off one of the many carriages. Stars shone in her eyes as she saw the village. Tall, big buildings, built to inhabit more than just one family. Functioning shops and street vendors. Some arriving merchants had even begun setting up their own shops in the corners.
Guards watched from above, standing on the tall wooden wall.
A crowd of adventurers were rushing towards a building, more glamorous and bigger than the rest. On a sign, above the entrance to said building there were three icons painted. A shield, a staff and a sword, all crossing over each other. Painted in red above the three tools were two words in red. "Adventurer Guild" it read proudly. Displaying its might to the world.
Over twenty young adults were rushing to the building. Our brown haired girl included.
The villagers jumped out of the way, scared to be plowed by the crowd of excited youths, who for the moment had no regard for anyone's life. This was the time of new beginnings, an exciting life. The tales of heroes they've read since young, the stories foretold. Perhaps with this, they too could become a character of books.
The young women sighed and apologized to the victims of the rowdy crowd. Even if she was just as riled up as them, she still had her decency. Something those rowdy guys couldn't claim.
The doors swung open and a macho guy greeted them. "Welcome, welcome, I am Ricadrious the third, branch leader of the guild and former 1C rank adventurer!"
Gasps echoed through the crowd, truly an easy crowd to please.
"I've heard that 1C means that they're C rank, in tier one!" one excited young boy whispered. Just loud enough for the curious girl to hear. She opened her mouth widely and speculated.
'Wow, did they do this so they can easily gauge the strength of someone. I mean tier zero has an extreme potential in different powers. Surely the other tiers have the same. Smart of them, maybe we should gauge our strength the same way.' she thought.
The man made way and let the crowd through. The girl was the last one to go through.
Inside there were several round tables all over the place. A bar was built in to the right and ahead of the entrance there was a reception. Three staff members, with the same silky black uniform stood ready with their own counter. They smiled and waved at the arrivals, quickly gaining their own lines.
The girl waited and watched in anticipation.
One of the receptionists brought out a weird black hand that seemed to be made out of obsidian. The hand was outstretched, like it planned to grab something. Making the first in line pale.
"Place your hand on it!" the receptionist told the unlucky first.
The young man with short brown hair reached out his hand to the black tool. He fearfully placed his hand inside the it and then it closed. He yelped in pain, and some blood flowed down the black hand.
Then the hand let go and the young man stumbled back, falling on his butt. Whilst staring at the hand in shock and hatred. All while the hand was stretched up and showed its palm. The blood from the young man flowed up in the air and formed "0E" in the air.
The others gasped in shock, and excitedly waited for their turn. As for the young man, the receptionist grabbed a weird medal and slammed it through the blood. Like ink it stuck to the medal and engraved itself into the weird metal in the shape of a tag.
"Congratulations Ekwards, you're now an adventure." she congratulated and then yelled "Next!"
The girl watched everything occur with interest, but was interrupted by the branch leader.
"Why is there a witch here, who's well taught in illusions. May I know your name, miss?"

The young witch peeked at the branch leader, with beads of sweat gathering on her forehead.
"Well, just like the other's I'm interested in the newly established guild. That's all!" the witch answered. fumbling back and forth, trying to keep her cool.
"Ah, yes, so I'm supposed to believe a witch, in other words a noble lady, just waddles into an adventure guild out in nowhere? Don't make me laugh! I've heard young lady Jasmine got into trouble with a duke. Are you perhaps someone sent to take revenge? If so, I will advise caution, witch. I'm not as forgiving as my looks may imply!" the man said, stepping forward. His hulking frame towering over the short girl.
A colossal pressure descended on Jasmine, and her knees slightly bent. The floor underneath her cracked and she saw red. Taking a step back in fear, she nearly stumbled. The witch wasted no time in undoing her illusion, revealing her exotic appearance.
The branch leader started sweating when he saw the witch's true facade. A somewhat slim girl, with a crooked gray witch hat, covering her silky smooth brown hair. Her blue eyes staring into the man's eyes, apologetically. A somewhat meek and weak self-esteem oozing of her, having just been threatened, receiving the end of a veteran's bloodlust. Pale white skin, just as smooth as her hair.
"Lady Jasmine?" he asked, gaining the attention of the adventurers around them.
The crowd hurriedly turned and saw the beauty of their future noble.
"Just as beautiful as the statue!" one of the staff members mumbled. Having seen multiple statues and paintings of the young noble. One explicit one even, where she was unclothed, hugging the totem of her lord.
Thinking of the painting the cashier blushed slightly and made himself as small as possible, hoping no one heard what he said. But he was out of luck, for Lady Jasmine's hearing was extraordinary.
"There's statues of me?" she asked. Humor noticeable in her voice. Like she hadn't just faced death's incarnate.
The man stepped back and said. "I've only seen one! It's at the front of your mansion, my lady!" he answered, hiding some facts he deemed unnecessary for her to learn from him. Having some regards for his own life.
"Oh, that's cool!" Jasmine exclaimed, her attention derailed once more. Well, not really, she was just stupefied and searched for a reason to leave. Sure, she's met powerful beings, way too powerful. She's almost certain there's no mortal in Zingtopia stronger than the Litch she met. But this was the first time someone of extraordinary power threatened her life.
To say she was uncomfortable would be an understatement. She wanted nothing more than to get out of there, breathe fresh air and meet her mom and dad. Maybe even her annoying brother.
"Well, I must excuse myself, that statue can't see itself after all." Jasmine said and ran off. The adventures stared at the ground beneath her, stunned by what just happened. That's when one of the staff members noticed the crack and quickly glared at the branch leader. The branch leader in question whistled innocently and walked away.
With haste, Jasmine strolled through the village. Everywhere she went a crowd would gather around her, singing praises. Even the guards stopped being professional, going as far as to walk up to her and shake her hand.
"It's a pleasure to have you back my lade, we've missed your presence in this village!" they said, everyone talking over each other. Pushing their competition away, so that they could be the one to talk to her.
"Lady Jasmine, does Lenart and Howard know you're here?" one of the guards asked, hitting a sore spot.
"No, I wanted to see the village first, before going to meet them." she answered.
The guard shifted uncomfortably and asked. "Do you want us to leave my lady?"
"No, since I'm already found, you may as well bring me to them!" she said and sighed. Her short adventure came to an end, in a rather anticlimactic turn of events.

~Pov Jantyr~ (First person)
"Hahaha" I laughed loudly, watching Jasmine get bullied by the guild master. She really thought she'd get away with hiding under his nose. What a stupid child. Thankfully that branch leader has proven to be loyal and indifferent to power struggle, that's good.
As of lately, I've been feeling restless. Almost like I'm stuck, forced to stay still. But each time I move I feel terrible throbbing in my head. It started when I reached 4000 faith points.
Just recently I passed five thousand and the feeling got worse. I have a backing suspicion it will only get worse.
To hunt in my turf, in other words in the forest they need to carry my totem. So adventurers hunting here will assist me in getting more energy, as the kill will count as a sacrifice to me. I will make their share of the energy stay inside the monster, or animal they kill so it stays behind. As taking everything will disintegrate the body and not just empty its energy.
To put it simply, I'm grinding levels and it's causing headaches. With it comes a longing for a physical form, something that I find suspicious.
In the eyes of a god, time truly does pass fast. A feast was held for Jasmine and her family moved into the mansion with her. My original totem was visited daily by Jasmine, as she entered her personal library, holding the secrets of the entire tower.
She regularly visited, together with Howard and Leif. The two of them still made considerable progress each day, same with Jasmine. She would sneak out to hunt, placing wards, illusions and all kinds of magics to be able to leave undetected. She only met lesser monsters, like goblins, wolves and kobolds.
A month after her return a man arrived. A squad of armored soldiers followed him. He sat in a carriage, enjoying his time, he demanded Jasmine to come and handed her the official decree. From now on she was a baroness.
Jasmine invited the man and asked if he could declare her village a town and he said. "This town meets all the requirements to become a town. But first I must convert your request to the high table. They will do what they see fit!" afterwards he left.
The next day JAsmine sneaked into the adventure guild and tested her rank. The hand drew her blood and shined 0A.
Months passed after that like a blur and summer arrived. Today was Jasmine's birthday.
