When he awoke the next morning, after being forced to rest by his butler Ferron, the traces of destruction in the garden were gone. An empty room appeared, but even the blood that should have memorialized it was nowhere to be found. 

"We'll start looking for similar plants to replace the damaged ones!" He listened stunned to Ferron's report. 

They went on to the rooms the black beast had entered. The pieces of furniture had been moved to the kitchen to be used as materials for the fireplace. Meanwhile, the items that had been destroyed had been rearranged. 

"You did well, Ferron!" Cyril could only offer praise without asking further questions. "What about the people killed by the black beast?" 

"Today the workers will collect the belongings of the man left in his room. After that, I will personally come to his house to deliver the remaining items and the condolence money," Ferron explained. Ferron explained.
