"Hahaha, I'm very lucky. If I manage to feed on you, my strength will be superior" Morlun said with a loud laugh as he lunged at Ghost-Spider.
The arachnid bends her body as much as she can, avoiding Morlun.
She quickly shoots out her web and grabs him by the arms, and uses all her strength to throw him against a post.
Morlun nonchalantly frees himself from the web and avoids impact by using his hands against the pavement to stop himself.
Morlun looks coldly at Ghost-Spider and when he was going to continue his attack, a fist hits him in the face and sends him rolling a few meters on the ground.
"Sorry for the delay" Spider-Venom said, who was responsible for that punch.
He had returned to join the battle after leaving the Spider family in a secluded and safe place.
"Don't worry, we can deal with him" Ghost-Spider replied as she continued to pay attention to the movements of Morlun, who was defending against the combined attacks of Silk and Spider-Girl.
These last two had taken advantage of Spider-Venom's attack to pressure him.
"Come on, this time we have to crush him and prevent him from escaping" Ghost-Spider said as she joined the battle.
Spider-Venom shrugs and follows her.
Morlun rolls on the ground to avoid the attacks of the arachnids.
He is furious and realizes that he had underestimated them, these guys seem to complement each other very well.
That is normal, the arachnids present are among the most capable when dealing with the Inheritors.
If Spider-Man and Scarlet Spider were there, then Morlun would have already been killed very easily.
And even though Spider-Girl is new, she could keep up with them and prove herself a worthy heir to her father.
Just then, a portal appears near Morlun from which Verna and her Hounds came out.
"Looks like I came at a good time" Verna said raising her eyebrow when she saw Morlun's situation.
"Don't meddle, they are my prey" Morlun said coldly, though a little surprised that Verna had come.
Even the arachnids are surprised by the arrival of a new Inheritor.
Verna looks at her brother coldly, that childish attitude is what bothers her.
They are currently fulfilling an important mission to destroy a bigger threat, but here his stupid brother thought they would be fine and he didn't take it very seriously, and he still thought that the rules of the hunt continued.
"Stop talking nonsense Morlun, father is the one who sent me. I just follow his will and I don't want that for your childish actions I end up being punished" Verna replied, looking at Morlun with contempt.
She is already very fed up with his attitude and she doesn't want to waste time.
Morlun's face darkens at Verna's contempt and he glares at her.
He feels that this woman is deliberately humiliating him in front of the arachnids and believes that their father's order is false, since he does not believe that his father would send him help, especially with the great trust that his father has in him.
"It doesn't matter, you can go for [the Scion], I am more than enough to take care of these Spiders" Morlun said and without waiting any longer he lunged against the arachnids.
Verna ends up with wide eyes in disbelief.
She never expected that Morlun would ignore their father's order.
She grits her teeth in anger, once they return, she will tell their father about Morlun's disobedience.
Snorting coldly, she glances over to Spider-Girl's family, who are still watching the battle from a safe distance in the distance.
"First I'm going to get [the Scion] and kill Peter Parker to calm my anger" Verna muttered as she gave the order for her Hounds to attack Spider-Girl's family.
The arachnids are alarmed, especially Spider-Girl as she is worried her family will get hurt.
"Spider-Venom, Ghost-Spider, Spider-Girl, we're leaving, let's go for the Parker family and leave this Earth, otherwise we will be at a great disadvantage" Silk quickly ordered.
"Do you think I'll let you go? Don't even dream of it" Morlum said coldly, who had already approached.
Silk turns her body and stretches out her hand towards Morlun, who sneers but doesn't realize that in the palm of the arachnid there is an orb that releases a very powerful repulsion force, which sends Morlun backwards like a comet, crashing into a house.
Spider-Venom, Ghost-Spider, and Spider-Girl are stunned.
"Let's go" Silk said as she headed off to save the Parker family.
Her words snap the arachnid trio out of their surprise.
"Damn, I almost forgot she had that trick" Spider-Venom said and Ghost-Spider nodded.
Although they had seen that object before, it still amazed them.
Although Spider-Girl was curious, she didn't have time for it and quickly followed Silk.
The other two arachnids were the same.
Verna was shocked and remembered that damn woman had those items.
At no time did she worry about Morlun, it was better if he died, so he would learn something and stop being so arrogant.
Also, she wanted to see his embarrassed face while being reprimanded by their father.
Silk stopped in front of Verna and her Hounds, and showed them the orb she held in her hand.
Verna's pupils shrank as she saw that item in Silk's hands again.
Verna stopped and looked coldly at Silk.
The other arachnids closed in on the Parker family to prepare to escape.
Ghost-Spider quickly opened a portal and they started to leave.
"Bitch, these things won't always save you and then I'll enjoy killing you" Verna said to Silk when she saw that they were about to escape.
"I know, but by then, we'll have beaten you" Silk replied, going through the portal when she saw that everyone had already.
Verna looked coldly and turned around to see if her stupid brother was still alive.
She knew that things were going as her father had predicted, so she could only wait for her father to destroy their shelter.
