Chapitre 449: The Inheritors Part 9

While Spider-Man AU was surprised by Ghost-Spider's actions, an enraged Daemos attacked them.
But Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider didn't panic.
They easily dodged his attacks.
Spider-Man punched him in the ribs without holding back, causing Daemos to step back and rub the spot with a grunt of pain.
Before he could recover, Ghost-Spider kicked him in the jaw, causing him to briefly lose control of his body.
Taking advantage of this, Spider-Man used his webs and attached them to Daemos's body, and using them he launched himself at him, giving him a powerful kick to the chest.
That blow sent Daemos flying, crashing into the already empty school bus.
Recovering, he looked at Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider in surprise.
He had noticed that this arachnid duo did not hold back when they hit him.
He has met many Spiders and faced them, and each of them had never fought like those two.
They always tried to hold back and take down causing the least damage to their enemy.
But this duo was attacking him in his vital points and although they also held back, their blows were aimed at causing him pain.
And he could tell it wasn't nice.
That was normal, since their way of fighting was taught by one of the most dangerous spies on Earth.
Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff.
She taught them that the easiest way to knock down, irritate and confuse an enemy was to cause them pain.
Of course, the arachnid duo felt reluctant about that.
But they decided to learn it, when Natasha took them to fight the Hulk.
Just remembering that made the Spider duo feel grateful as they knew their teacher just wanted them to be able to survive any danger.
Sure, they wouldn't use those tactics on just anyone, but from what they heard from that bastard they knew not to underestimate him or they would pay the consequences.
"I never expected it, but you really are the most dangerous and troublesome arachnids I've ever faced, so I'll enjoy killing you" Daemos said as he calmly recovered.
The arachnid duo prepare to continue attacking him.
"Well, I can't be left behind either, I'll help you against this bastard" Spider-Man AU said as he approached the Spider duo.
Thus, their fight resumed.

While the arachnid trio were fighting Daemos.
A few blocks from the place, a portal appears through which two figures emerge, a man and a woman.
Their physical features are similar which shows that they are twins.
They are the Inheritors, Bora and Brix.
"Damn, where the hell is Daemos?" Bora asked irritably.
"According to his last sign, he must be on this Earth that father told us about" Brix answered calmly.
How come these twins ended up in this place?
That was because after going to another Earth to make up for the loss against Cindy Moon's group.
They managed to bring prey to their father and held a family reunion, their father told them about this new Earth that they would visit in a few days.
But after that meeting, a problem occurred the next day.
Bora and Brix had agreed to meet up with Daemos for a hunt but when they arrived on Earth where he was, they were surprised that their brother had not been able to capture the Spider and ended up following him to another Earth, so they did the same and they ended up on the Earth their father had told them about.
That's also a reason why Bora was mad at her older brother.
Their father was very strict when giving orders and now that they have come to this Earth earlier than planned, they knew he would be very angry.
"Calm down Bora, what's done is done, the only thing we can do is not return empty-handed and thus reduce our father's anger" Brix said while trying to calm her sister.
"You're right, besides, we can blame Daemos for the situation he's gotten us involved in" Bora said after calming down upon hearing her brother's words.
At that moment, they notice that the people in the place are very nervous.
So concentrating, they hear sounds of disturbance coming from some streets to the north of their position.
"I think I know where our stupid older brother could be" Bora said with a sinister smile.
"And from the looks of it, he's having a lot of fun, do you think he's fighting the Spiders of this Earth?" Brix said with a relaxed smile.
If Daemos had listened to their words, he would have wanted to kill them, he was fighting the Spiders, but instead of having fun, he was distraught. That arachnid trio was giving him a beating and if he continued like this, he was sure he would lose.
"Come on, this is an opportunity to make up for our mistake before father, plus we can compete to see who can catch more of those arachnids" Bora said as she ran towards the scene of the disturbance.
"You're right, this can be fun" Brix said as he shrugged and followed his sister.
The twins' speed was impressive and it wouldn't take long to reach their destination.

Daemos was breathing heavily, and for the first time in his life he is regretting two things.
The first, not capturing the Spider just because he was having fun.
And the second, having followed him to this Earth even when his father still wouldn't allow it.
The arachnid duo of this Earth were bloody cheaters.
Magic ropes, portals and energy shields.
Those were the things they used to beat him up.
At first, he thought it was their abilities, but after fighting he realized that those abilities came from their suits.
That made him curse the creator of these.
But that also scared him since if all Spiders had that versatility, they would be screwed.
"Give it up, you already realized that you can't defeat us" Spider-Man said calmly as he looked at the sulking Daemos.
Hearing his words, Daemos began to despair.
