Hearing her words, Ultron was alarmed because he felt great danger.
At that moment, Jean's psychic energy surrounded her, forming the imposing image of the Phoenix, which with a mighty screech expelled its energy against Ultron and his bots.

As soon as the Ultron bots came into contact with that energy, they turned to dust and that did not stop there, since even the United Nations building was not spared from it.
Alex was surprised since the form of that attack is very similar to that of Jean from the X-Men: The Last Stand movie.

Seeing that, Ultron was scared for a moment but quickly unleashed the full power of the Stones in order to protect himself.
