Take my review with a grain of salt. i just hate the beginning of this story. It's far too much drama for me. I've had my fill of the cliche wuxia lately.
You can't please them all but the story is right up my alley. Why is my rating low though? Well that's because the ending is severely disappointing. In a word, RUSHED. It felt like the author didn't want to continue anymore and just abruptly wrote something that he thought was a good enough wrap up. Well in case it isn't obvious enough with my tone, it's not. There is a huge hole in the story. We don't even know what happened to that Venerable Lie Kong from another county or what his purpose was for implicating the Su family effectively rendering chapters 144-147 absolutely useless. It wasn't even touched upon once in the succeeding chapters all the way to the end. It would've been fine if the MC decided to kill the 3 old guys or the author made something up on a somewhat believable reason why he would spare them. It's a freaking major reason for his wife's family's suffering for crying out loud. Now it just feels like he didn't care enough to get to the bottom of it.

read to 215th chap and 🤮 I couldn't do it anymore sorry. I need to detoxify my brain. It's the worst of all sign-in novels I've ever read, I can understand why it was dropped, it's a pure torture.
This was an okay low quality power fantasy, enjoyable, until the whole real life earth and how great china is appeared out of nowhere turned up to 11 - that shattered any modicum of immersion. I bailed the first chapter real life china was mentioned as a place that was congruent in the story. This single chapter already was extreme in pride - this is why there are memes about the well-being of the chinese authors.

Book is boring and contrived. MC has no stumbling blocks. Translation is okay while the editing is trash. Explanation of power and realms is mediocre. Lastly author seems kind of forgetful.

Its not that good but its not outright boring. I continued reading, then came the disaster. Every country except china is destroyed. Loving one's own country is good but demeaning others is not good. these chinese should grow up and respect other countries.

Story gets bad after the first 100 chapters. It was progressing somewhat decently for a while and then the MC starts using his system to obtain unlikely benefits - gets a skynet card that puts satellites around the planet in a world where phones basically function as walkie talkies + and then gets the doctor strange super power to open portals to places.

I had to stop after chapter 5. By then MC was a totally a idiot. What broke it for me was MC goes to his job after not calling in for about 3-4 days not getting fired there? So MC goes into room to clean but instead eats an drinks the wine meant for someone else? That is just there to cause conflict. That's why I stop forcing plot isn't the way to write a good story.
Another boring and aimless sign in novel. Nothing interesting within first few chapters. I get the feeling that the MC might stay with the already wife. Which is really sort of weird because he doesn’t know her. Is he just going to pretend to be the same person as the guy he replaced. I don’t think I need to explain how wrong that is.
The translation is good but the story development is going too fast the mc is growing stronger to fast and he is also too kind by giving away his system technique to another for no reason at all.
Mc immature, stupid, muscle brain, and when something catches his attention everything else he was doing slips out of his head, tried to read this but I had to quit due to anger

After gaining power he found out they kicked him out and in such a way that he would hate them so that he would have nothing to do with them and their enemy wouldn’t try and harm him. he found out and decided to look after them anyway. Webnovel is full of bs, this novel started with an advantage of 120k views and the only reason for it to win is because of that. it would've been in 3rd or 4th place if it didn't get that advantage.
This author ruins any potential his novel had in the first chapter with two bad decisions. First, should not have shown the truth in the first chapter. hint at it, sure, but let us be confused and angry for a while. Second, it was very dumb to introduce a transmigration plot into this. It is not just completely and utterly pointless but also an active detriment to the story because it severs the protagonist from his own past, creating a disconnect between the protag and Wang Yi's emotions, grudges and attachments. With this decision alone he neuters all of the emotional weight that he established at the start. Alternatively, he could have just introduced the system and shoved in some BS about how he was chosen by the system because he is uniquely qualified in some way, perhaps he naturally has an extremely strong soul or something. Regardless, with the two bad decisions he made in the first chapter alone he ruined any potential his novel had in ways that are extremely easy to fix.
