Chapitre 33: Hey Tony meet Terra!.. Tony you Alright??
*2 Weeks later*
Fisk was finally put on trial and sentenced for life. Knowing his deeds from comics, he's not gonna stay silent for long. But I already have something planned in case he does do something. No, how many times do I have to tell you Oracle, my smile is not evil!!
Anyway leaving Fisk aside, the Defenders have completely patched up. The exams ended yesterday, so the perfect time to contact them for a little power-up. Same goes for me, of course. Absorbing energy from the Tesseract really helped a lot, combined with the training in gravity room does wonders. Transcendent Body has got stuck at 50%, like a bottleneck. According to Oracle, I need a push to break through. What do you want me to do?? Fight Black Bolt or Captain Marvel? Well Carol won't mind. I met her a few times when I used to visit Xandar for odd-jobs. We get along pretty well. She isn't as bit*hy like in the movies, which is definitely welcomed. Her adventures in space really taught her a lot and were fun to hear.
Phoenix Fire has reached 100% mastery. Divinity has reached 20% finally. I can now create anything in a volume of 2mX2mX2m. Same goes for destroying it. Unlike Phoenix fire, rather than getting reduced to atoms, it completely wipes out, or should I say, returns to Origin.
One For All has reached 40% mastery unlocking my 6th quirk, Sixth Sense. It is upgraded from Danger Sense. It works like Danger Sense with premonition ability added. Like getting a bad feeling before something is about to happen. I could already sense danger's with aura, but this was a nice welcome. I will make sure any situation like Felicia's never happens again.
Apparently the main reason OFA was strengthening slowly is that I wasn't using one of body strengthening's main perks, Ban's Snatch. I never used it because I never find someone strong enough to use Physical Hunt on, but that was in turn slowing me.
Star Platinum has reached 95%, with his range reaching 100%, 50m around me. Time limit for Chrono-stasis has reached 60%, i.e., 36 seconds. Chrono-control has reached 45%. I need to analyze the Time Stone to improve further.
All aspects of Aura control has reached 100%, only growing stronger as my base body strengthens as well. Gravity Manipulation has already reached 100%. I tried using it on Galvan prime and found out I can alter the orbit of it's moons easily. This alone makes me hella OP.
Twilight magic has reached 85% with Photo-Umbra kinesis reaching 100%. Bending light and shadows at will is really satisfying. Spatial control has reached 45%. This might not seem lot, but I can already teleport anywhere in the solar system now. So yeah, really strong.
All aspects of Quantum Tunneling have reached 100% as well.. All-in-all, smooth sailing.
Badassium and Anti-metal have successfully integrated into the mines. Anti-metal is proving difficult to research on, but that's what makes it even more interesting. I will pay a visit to Savage lands when required. Maybe as a vacation?
Connors is almost out of Shield custody as well. Just a little more push. I have decided to progress Knight Entertainment towards VR. Once again, revolutionize things. Right now, Tony has finally arrived after my call in the morning. And he is late by 1 hour... Well it is at least improvement from 3 hours.
"What's the matter Alex? I had leave my date with Pepper for this you know?" Tony came in complaining.
"That explains your delay by 1 hour alright." I quipped back but he ignored it.
"Hey Alfred, oh, thanks for the tea, anyway what's the matter? Found any more overgrown lizards or something?" He asked sipping the tea.
"No, I actually called you to meet someone you might remember." I said with a smile. He showed a confused expression but seeing me looking behind him, he turned around and went into shock seeing who was standing behind.
"Hey Tony, been a while." Yinsen said with a smile. Tony rushed and hugged him with tears in his eyes.
"What happened? How are you alive? I thought-" Tony said but Yinsen smiled and replied.
"I thought too, but Mr. Alex sent some people to save me and my family." He said.
"... Thanks a lot Alex" He turned around and said to me.
"No problem, now sit down and have a chat, the tea's getting cold you know" I said with a smile. After that we talked about how Dark knights saved him and his family, and now he is under the medical research under Knight Industries.
"Wait, you knew my location? Why didn't you rescue me?" Tony asked with a betrayed face.
"That was the plan, but like you, I got sent to an forceful holiday as well." I said with a sigh.
"Let me guess, Himalayas?" He said.
"Nope, Hell" I said with a straight face. He snorted at that, but seeing me look at him with a straight face made him realize I was serious.
"Please tell me you are not serious" He said, then looked towards Alfred hopefully, who just gave him a tired sigh. His eyes widened in realization, but he then shook his head and said, "Never mind, I don't even want to know anything more." He replied getting a chuckle for me. Yinsen still looked lost at our interaction.
After talking for some more, I looked at Tony and said" Tony, There is something I want to talk about."
"What's the matter?" He asked looking at my serious face.
"I'm thinking of taking out your shrapnel and arc reactor and healing you." I said, making his eyes go wide in shock.
"You serious?" He asked, still n disbelief.
"Very" I replied, lighting my hand on fire glowing white.
"What the heck Alex? You want to cauterize it?" He asked, scared at me holding the fire.
I chuckled and said, "These aren't normal flames Tony. These are Flames of Nirvana, it can heal even deep wounds." I told him. His eyes went even wide in astonishment.
After a while he gained his resolve and said, "Do it."
"Let's go then." I said as a portal opened between us leaving the two startled, as I and Alfred stepped in. I teleported us to Galvan Prime, leaving Tony to have a mental shutdown. Yinsen was the same. After snapping out of daze, he started looking around at the advancement and data I had here in curiosity. It took me an whole hour with Alfred to get him to the medical bay. I should have expected this knowing him.
"So I have 1 more question for you." I said.
"Shoot" He said.
"Do you want to take the Super Soldier Serum?" I said.
He narrowed his eyes and asked, "What are you talking about?"
"I recreated many versions of SSS. All with different level of abilities. You are Iron Man, but still vulnerable without the suit. I want to give you this as an extra protection for you." I said.
He thought seriously for a while and said, "Right now, I want to put SSS on hold. Give me some more time to consider. And do you think you could spare two for Pepper and Happy?" He asked.
"Take your time, and I have a lot of them, so no problem." I said with a smile, "Now lie down and let me start." I said. He lied on the medical chamber. Yinsen and Alfred stood a little away. Oracle displayed Tony's scans, while I was looking through telekinesis as well. After double checking every problem, I used telekinesis to block any arteries and veins in the area to prevent blood loss, and took out the shrapnel's and arc reactor with spatial manipulation, preventing any further damage. Then I used the Phoenix Fire to heal his wound in chest with any other he had. I had put Tony in comatose, so he didn't feel a thing.
After checking all his vitals, I woke him up. He was dazed, but looking around his eyes shot open, and he touched his chest, to not find the reactor there. I gestured towards the table where the reactor was sitting with the shrapnel in a box.
He got up and moved around, trying to find any problems, then hugged me, which I returned back.
"Thanks Alex" He said.
"No problem. Now go to Pepper, bet she would freak out." I said with a smile, getting a chuckle out of him. We came out towards the lake where he looked around like a kid.
"Jeez kid, this place is awesome. Just how many secrets do you have?" He said. He had stumbled because of the difference in gravity from inside to outside, getting a laugh from me.
He went near the lake to see the water, when suddenly it rose with a huge splash. He covered his eyes to shield them. He opened his eyes to see what caused the splash, but what he saw scared the life out of him. Well who wouldn't, seeing a huge 12 ft. four armed reptile. She brought her nose in front of his face as if smelling him, while his legs were losing his strength. Yinsen was scared seeing this as well, while I and Alfred shared a amused smile.
I chuckled and moved forward, getting her to move her nose from him to me. She pushed her nose against me, which I caught chuckling and petted her, getting a happy growl from her. If Tony's face was scared as hell before, now he looked like he was about to faint. Looks like the amount of surprises were a little too much for him.
"Tony meet Terra, and Terra this is Tony, my elder brother." I said with a smile. She looked at him and brought her snout close to him again, startling him. I chuckled and said, "She wants you to pet her." He was confused as hell, but still somehow took his shacking hands and petted her. She closed her eyes in happiness at that. I chuckled again. Those three girls really spoiled her.
"I need to talk to him more, I will bring you to hunt a wild boar later alright." I said to her, which she replied with a happy roar and went back in water. Tony's legs finally gave up and he fell backwards, still dazed. I laughed at his reaction and recorded it as well. I'll send it to Pepper later. Tony finally snapped out of his daze hearing me laugh. I wasn't even sure what emotion was showing on his face now.
"That's NOT funny Alex. But...HOW? Why? What just...?" He asked still not completely recovered from shock.
"Well, it happened during our fight obviously. When we had almost won, her eyes showed sentience, completely different from her animalistic nature. I felt something wrong and tried to see if I could read her mind, from which I found out Fisk tortured her extremely and kept her in a hungry state, with my images showing everywhere leading her to believe I was doing this. She had gained intelligence, somewhere between a human and a dog, but the torture nearly drove her mad, which she snapped out at the end of our fight. I felt like she was just caught up between me and Fisk, so when I trapped her, I made an illusion so that it looks looks an explosion, when I actually teleported her to the pool in my house, and Oracle brought her here." I explained.
He finally gained his bearings mid explanation and nodded hearing me. "So Terra, as in short for Terrorbite? The name JJJ gave it?" He asked.
"Yup" I said.
He deadpanned at me, then frowned and asked, "She looks different from back then though. What happened?"
"Well, when Oracle sent her here, we found out her DNA was unstable, so she would have died in a week, so we made a tank full of serum to both, stabilize, and strengthen her. She woke up after two days, where I telepathically showed her what happened. She did try to fight again, but soon realized I was holding back a lot during our first fight. After that I, Alfred and Eliana spent time with her, with Jean, Wanda and Laura joining later, and she kind of became our little pet croc." I told him, hearing which he just gave a tired sigh, deciding not to think about it.
He took Yinsen and left later, since there was time till evening, as I promised, I took Terra for the hunt as I promised.
