CHAPTER START---

As Eraser Head and Vlad King leave Nezu's office, the atmosphere becomes much more tense.

Tsukauchi and Nezu share a knowing look at Yagi looks confused.

"What's wrong?" Yagi asks, looking between his allies. "We should get in the helicopter and head to Tokyo, Gran Torino should already be at the police station waiting for us."

"Or..." Nezu says, "we could postpone the raid."

"What?" Yagi stands up, looking horrified at the very thought. "But Principal Nezu, this is the best chance we've got!"

"Just for a few weeks," Tsukauchi says, looking up at his friend. "Schools are out so the League Of Villains can't hit any Hero Courses until summer ends in a few weeks, by then Horizon should be back in action for him to help you take down All For One, for good this time."

"You..." Yagi stumbles back in disbelief, "you think I'll lose?"

"We didn't say that," Nezu says. "But we have one of the most powerful people in the world on standby, if we wait, he will be ready."

"Assuming the villains will still be there," Yagi says. "We don't know when they'll move onto another hideout, and Horizon said he won't be ready for weeks, we need to strike now and defeat All For One with a decisive blow."

"The plan won't change," Nezu says. "The tracker Yaoyorozu made is still transmitting from the same location in Kamino Ward, and the police have eyes on the hidden bar where the villains are living at.

We'll still have two teams, one to attack the Nomu facility in Kamino Ward, and you'll still lead the team at the bar which will be fighting the main villains."

"But we want Horizon with you at the bar," Tsukauchi says. "When All For One shows himself it'll be good if both of you take him down together. Nezu has a pet monster in his pocket, it's about time we put it to use."

Yagi doesn't understand what he means by that, only knowing Horizon as a student, "pet monster?"

"Nevermind that," Nezu says. "Tsukauchi and Horizon didn't meet on the best terms. But when All For One shows up at the bar it'll be best if you, Horizon, and Endeavor are there together."

"You're asking me to put one of my students in a fight again All For One? How can I do that and still call myself a Hero?"

"Horizon isn't just any student," Nezu says, earning a confident nod from Tsukauchi. "He severely hurt All For One in their last fight, with you and Endeavor there, the three of you can easily end that demon..."

Yagi pauses, then looks between Tsukauchi and Nezu, people who have been with him from the start of his career, from before he even got One For All in Nezu's case.

And for the very first time, he sees more than just concern in their eyes.

"You don't think I can win?" Yagi asks in a quiet voice.

Tsukauchi sighs, "it's not that we doubt your power. We just don't want to risk losing you, as a friend, and as the Symbol Of Peace. Think about what happens if something goes wrong."

"Nothing will go wrong," Yagi says.

"If this semester has proven anything, it's that everything can go wrong, no matter how much we try to prove otherwise." Nezu hops down from his chair and begins walking toward the opposite couch. "We've assembled powerful heroes to assist you, but the Hero Commission has run simulations already, if the enemies have too many Nomu, this can go bad very quickly."

"You could die," Tsukauchi says, surprising Yagi. "And what do you think happens if All For One manages that for the world to see...society would be thrown into chaos."

Yagi looks down at his baggy Hero Costume, reaching up and pulling the fabric at his chest. Years ago he would have filled this costume out 24/7, but now he stands as a husk of his former self.

And even his greatest supporters are so worried about him that they don't want him to fight.

To be the person Nana knows he would be.

To complete the task she entrusted to him.

He recalls the night he lost her, how he and Gran Torino were forced to run away, leaving her to stall All For One, and how she stood alone.

"But I won't be alone," Yagi says, gripping his costume. "I'll have squads of powerful and just Pro Heroes with me. I'll have more support than anyone before me.

Yes, I am weaker than I was years ago. But I've regained some of my past power thanks to Horizon healing me.

I'm still strong enough to complete this task.

Strong enough that I don't have to involve one of my precious students in this battle, because how can I ever call myself a teacher if I'm so weak that I have to do that?

How could we call ourselves Heroes if we have to depend on him for the most critical battles of our lives?

Is this not my purpose?

I was entrusted with this power to become the Symbol of Peace.

To become All Might.

But as a holder of One For All, above everything else, OUR purpose, is to defeat All For One.

To ensure the safety of this world, and all the generations that will inherit it from us.

So no, I won't be leaning on one of the very people I'm fighting to create a better world for in this fight."

Yagi begins growing, taking his muscular form and completely filling out his costume until it was skin tight.

Raising his fist in front of him and looking at it, only feeling a fraction of the godly power that once coursed through him.

"One For All...this is its purpose, OUR purpose, but I'll complete this task here," he looks up at Nezu, giving him a broad smile. "So Izuku Midoriya can find the new purpose of this power, and forge his own destiny, because as a Hero, and as his teacher, that is my duty...that, is why All Might exists..."

The intensity and conviction in his voice were astonishing as always, and both Nezu and Tsukauchi couldn't help but smile, feeling the familiar warmth of his blazing will just as bright as it was before their previous battle.

Tsukauch chuckles, fishing the keys for the helicopter door out of his pocket and getting up, ready to make his way to the roof and fly them to Tokyo.

"There really won't be another Hero like you," he gives All Might an exasperated look. "Now let's go deal with this villain for good, then we won't ever have to think about him again," he begins walking toward the door.

"Half right," All Might says, turning to give Tsukauchi his brilliant smile, "this villain ends tonight, but I'm sure of another thing, there will be another Symbol Of Peace, and he'll be more than I could have ever been..."

As All Might and the others meet up in Tokyo to finalize their plans for the raid, Nezu heads downstairs to meet up with Eraser Head and Vlad King.

Their part in this plan was to hold a press conference simultaneously with the raid, proclaiming that the police force and UA were currently looking into the villain's plans and location but had yet to find any concrete leads.

No students, not even Momo herself who provided the tracker knows about the raid.

And even the police and Heroes that will be helping haven't been told anything before tonight, to prevent the villains from learning through a spy.

That's exactly why Nezu didn't mind that Horizon was dealing with the potential spy issue, because he wanted this entire problem to be dealt with tonight...

---Aldera City, 250KM Southwest of Tokyo...

Sitting at his desk in his room Deku was currently writing some notes for his Hero Studies.

Trying to figure out a way to ease the damage his arms are taking during battles.

His hands were currently functional but bandaged up for the next few days.

"And I'll have to figure out a way to convince mom to let me return to UA next semester," he mutters absentmindedly. "Maybe I can get Principal Nezu to talk to her, or maybe All Might can come to do it in person.

But she's so scared I'll break my arms one or two more times and be crippled forever as the doctors said. But if I figure this out before then it won't matter.

'It's a power distribution problem'...Horizon said this before, but he also said that because I look up to All Might so much it's limiting me," he stops writing and sits back in his chair, staring down at his book.

Currently, there was a sketch of his Hero Costume with armored arms. A solution he knew simply wouldn't work.

"What did he mean by that, thinking like All Might will hold me bad?" he reaches for his phone and clicks on the 1A group chat, seeing a conversation going on, mentioning the press conference that was about to start.

"I should watch that so I at least know when school will be reopening," he mutters while opening the member's list for the chat, he sees Horizon listed in it and is tempered to call him.

"If I call him he'll probably call me stupid again and hang up...assuming he'd even answer, ugh..." Deku holds his head in frustration. "Oh, I know, I'll just ask Sero to ask him for me."

He finds Sero's contact but stops before he can call, "no, Horizon would figure it out...and the last thing I want to do is get Sero yelled at.

Plus last time he said I rely on other people too much right now, so I should at least figure this out myself.

'Heroes are problem solvers, not liabilities' was what he said...I think," Deku returns to his notes for a few minutes, thinking up anything he can...

"Izuku!" he hears his mother's scared voice echo down the halls of their small apartment.

Deku is immediately on alert, knowing there was a police van outside with a Pro Hero nearby to stake out the house. Just as with all the Hero Course students from UA.

But he didn't hear any fighting.

'Warp gate, Kurogiri!' he immediately concludes, activating his quirk and rushing down the hall, terrified of the idea that the villains are in his house, hurting his mom.

Terrified that All For One realized that he has One For All and not Horizon.

Rounding the corner he pivots on the ground hard enough to crack the concrete and turns into the kitchen, ready to launch into a powerful Smash.

But he freezes, seeing the small kitchen occupied by two people.

Inko Midoriya, leaning with her back to the counter absolutely terrified, breathing heavily and gripping her chest from the sheer shock.

And sitting at the small kitchen table.

Horizon.

In full Hero Costume with his sword out, clearly ready to use it...
