I tried but all the explanations on everything is to much. a potion does not need a history of it origins for corroding a body. hearing the same info over and over is redundant.
Beware: translation is rubbish starting in chapter 41. Unfortunately, I see this happening very frequently on web novel where they only do a good job for the free chapters to draw you in then it’s junk after that :(
The story is good up to chapter 40. But then the following chapters go behind the wall, and also chapters from then on are all MTL. Only did actual translating for the first 40 chapters that would be getting people hooked. But the stuff behind the wall isn't of the same quality. The names aren't the same for example and other normal MTL issues. If you don't mind MTL and the wall then go ahead. The story was very interesting. But for me personally, the quality translation needed to continue behind the wall. Total 3.2 Translation Quality - 4 for the first 40 chapters. Was translated very well. Stability of Updates - 3 For neutral. You check if you want to. Story Development - 2 We don't get to see much of what this story is about. Enough to be interesting, but not enough I'm walking away content. In other words, you don't get one full arc if you stop at wall. Character Design - 3 For neutral. Seemed ok. Mc is not a young master and not a blank either. World Background - 4 Reminds me of LOTM.
Till chapter 40 a good story and solid translation but after that when you actualy started to pay its mtl it was a waste of my time and a huge disappointment
the story is so supernatural. the cultivation is supernatural. the world is supernatural. the dialogue is supernatural. everything is knee deep in supernatural. also the city is steampunk. they have steampunk newspaper. on and on steampunk. making it very steampunk. MC is a genius orphan parmacist mage that wants to be a tank. he has a no effort system that auto levels his cultivation. so fun to read. i wanna stab my eyes. and the stupid free fast pass didnt show up. i wasted 1 hour
It is MTL for paid chapters, which alone makes it not worth reading. The story at the start feels similar to 'Lord of the Mysteries'. The start is good. Eventually, it devolves back to the usual Chinese Xianxia, with murderers and robbers all around. The MC hits far above his weight class and arrogantly roams around killing those robbers. There are no human connections toward the end. The end itself is very unsatisfying. Without spoiling, MC just quietly solves an apocalyptic problem for the world, and the novel ends. There is no buildup, no suspense or drama.
The story is good till the 41st chapter where they decide to machine translate the story and mess up all the build up for a good novel/quality/ engaging element.
What kind of stupid bs is this, how came the payed chapters are the one with machine stupid translation. This is ridiculous and disrespectful to the readers.
Amazing book with an awful translator after chapter 40. They did the impossible and made a translation worse than MTL quality! Bad translation. Bad update stability since everything after 40 is gibberish that will never be fix. Bad story development because you can’t even read how the story develops Bad character design, there are so many characters after chapter 40 and most of they seem to be the same person. Who is who? I can’t tell. Bad world background because I can’t read the foreground let alone the background. STOP MTL ESPECIALLY WHEN GOOGLE TRANSLATES 1000x BETTER THAN YOU. Now this fantastic novel will never be translated because someone was too lazy and too greedy to either drop this or translate it properly.
The first 40 free chapters are incredible. Unfortunately, ch 41 and on are machine translation quality. Bait and switch was painful. Pass on this one unless you can read RAWs.
The authors extreme…. EXTREME over use of the word “supernatural” completely destroys the novel.
After ch #40 translation went downhill. It was good read till then, but now I feel like it was major disappointment because even if the story is completed it is too annoying to actually read… the translation it THAT BAD! and ironically you have to pay only for the chapters with the very poor and annoying translation 🤦🏼🤯
The beginning is good, aside from the overuse of the word "supernatural". However after chapter 40, the translator changes and the quality drops. They change names and terms that we have gotten used to. and the grammar errors increase a lot, even for WN.
Terribly translated. Just... absolutely terribly translated. The sentence structure is bafflingly odd and some places just use completely wrong words to the point of being really confusing. If you enjoy reading at the speed of a snail and keep second-guessing yourself over what the author meant rather than what's actually written down, give it a try.
First 39 chapters are pretty good, then they ditched the translator so it's almost impossible to read after
Infuriating! For the first 40 chapters the quality was average and the story was interesting. Soon as story gets to chapter 41 quality drops to barely literate, elementary school literature.
what a waste of time! i got baited! first 40 chapters was incredible! the storyline was immersive and well thought its just that chapter 41 onwards is machine translated. whoever decided to do this, shame on you!
Amazing read overall. First off, the writing quality sinks drastically after the first 40 chapters, so don't bother if you can't deal with that. However, if you can tolerate slightly unintelligible translation at times, (you can still understand though) the story itself is incredible - I read all 534 chapters in a matter of days. Loved the novel, heavily recommended for anyone who can deal with bad writing quality.
If it's the 40 first chapter I will have more but +41 chapter with a cheap edition and translation it's a big no
Before chapter 41 the book is ok, after that no edition and a ml... Any editor for that ?
I wish that whoever uploaded the mtl here choke on his spit and everyone In wn company who agree with this conduct should have deihera for a week. Why buy the novel translation rights when this is the "result".

Really liked it until it went to terrible unedited mtl from ch41 onwards, so I really wish they actually translated the rest... They need some sort of tag for this so I don't waste time and get invested in a novel because I think it has 500 chapters.
The first few chaps is not something thay could easily hook someone to binge read it untill you progress for like 20chaps. I really love the concept and all but ariving at chapter 41 instantly drained my enthusiasm.The writing quality dropped like a comet, kind of frustating to continue reading.
Don’t even bother buying 40 chapters onward. It is a scam, they just machine translated it with absolutely no effort to fix minor mistakes like the issue of the MC having a different name. MTL so bad instead of charging coins, they should be giving coins. At this rate, just don’t translate it. Don’t ruined the book. Not like the translator even try.
