"Your highness, it's time for your morning ritual" A girl in an all-white dress says as she gives a small bow to the bed before her.
The room is quite big an luxurious. The room has a sitting room with a oak table and sofa's for teatime. The walls are decorated with paintings and the shelves are filled with antique vases. A glass cabinet beside the bed is filled with antique guns and swords as that is the hobby of the sleeping girl.
The girl has blackish purple hair, from her posture and body size she doesn't look any older than 10. Though she may look young, she has lived since the early ages of this world. Both a blessing and a curse.
The sleeping girl sirs awake at the sound of the message and slowly sits up. Her straight hair falls down her back as her eyes open and reveal a purple hue. The sign of the progenitor.
She mumbles a few words as she stands up and walks towards the mirror.
"Make it something simple, after that you can leave and have breakfast" she says as she starts to clean her face with water and the maidservant starts to brush her hair.
"Yes, your highness. Though I must inform you, master Joachim is waiting for you in the hall, he would like to join you for breakfast" the maidservant says as she continues brushing her hair.
"Is that all? Tell him I'll join him after the ritual in the dining room". She replies as she looks at her reflection in the mirror. She thinks back on all that has happened since she came to this world. She doesn't remember how, but the moment she opened her eyes she had left the safe side of her brothers and woke up in a new world, surrounded by primitive people. Growing up with a few brothers, a sister, and a half-blood brother she was not once alone. They had been together for centuries and in a blink of an eye she was alone.
First, she lost her mother in her childhood, something about withes and spells, the only thing she left her was a spell to keep her safe from the sun. The other for some reason got rings.
Her brother turned out the be her half-brother, the next thing she knows they had left their home and started drifting the world. Her father made them immortal, so they had to keep drifting. Killing people when necessary and rising to power, her brothers made sure she would have to kill only when she had to.
Though you shouldn't her favourite was always Elijah, Klaus had too much of a temper, and Rebecca was just plain annoying. The others weren't that much around at some point. Though Klaus may have had to have a hand in it. Last thing she heard was talk about some ritual and a girl they needed, then it went al black.
The urges to drink blood made it harder to make peace with the strange people she saw, but with the promise of good health, she took the role of ruler. Most of the lands in this world are divided by water and every island has a different climate. The island she ruled was mostly dark and with a few strange animals.
One of such animals where the monkeys. They imitate anything she shows them. Making use of such talent, she deployed them for the defence of the island as well as the training for her soldiers. That way they will grow together.
Tough not a fan of water, the monkeys did their job as well as expected. Centuries passed, as the lands she ruled grew with the dozens of wars she won. Her people developed a trait unique to original island residents.
She healed many people over the years. None died while the blood was ingested during those 24 hours, but the blood did mutate some of their genes. Her closest people developed a tinge of yellow in the eyes, as well as better eyesight. The more healing was used the sharper the sight. After debating what to call this select group of people, she decided on the name Dracule. They would be the royal guard of her family.
During one of their conquests, they even got their hands on a fine blade. The blade is massive and has a slight curved edge. The blade itself is all black and the handle is engraved and inlaid with blue gems. Only the strongest of the family could wield that blade to protect the people.
One of such days ended up saving a stowaway from slave merchants. If there is one thing she hates, it's the act of depriving someone of their freedom. The boy without a family to call his own was adopted in her family.
Since most of the people around her only lived around 80-100 years, she made sure he would accompany her for a long time, with his approval of course. That boy is Joachim. The second immortal in this world, though not an original, so a good old stake to the heart would still kill him unlike her.
Joachim accepted the offer when he turned 18. So he is quite a bit taller than her, but at least now she wouldn't be as lonely as she was at first.
"…ness" "…Highness" "Your highness"
Waking up from her daze, she looks at the maidservant behind her trough the mirror.
"I'm done arranging your hair, it's time for the morning ritual" The maidservant says as she takes a few steps back, allowing her to stand up from her chair.
"Time already, well… tell Joachim I'll be right there."
Well after a long wait, here is the chapter! Took me a while but I hope you’ll enjoy the changes.
