Chapitre 122: Who do you think you are

At this moment a tired little voice came from the stairs, "Hey guys, I thought we promised no fighting?" Sola stumbled down slowly as she rubbed her eyes with one hand as the other fumbled for support on the walls, a yawn that resembled the mewl of a kitten escaped her little lips.

Everyone from Myr to even the officers blushed in adoration. "Darling, we're not having any fights, why don't you go up and rest a little more, you had a long night yesterday." Myr said sweetly.

"But aunty's already awake, so I should help out." Sola's eyes tried to widen as much as they could at this point, causing her blinking to become a lot faster. Myr's heart was warmed so much that she wanted to hug and muzzle against the little one. Unfortunately, now wasn't the time.

She had to first get rid of these pesky buggers who were ruining the moment. Without realizing her killing intent raised another notch which stifled the officers even more.

The leading officer tried to ignore it, especially the thought of his head getting cut off. He attributed the experience to just a mind trick.

"You must be Sola..." his hand reached out, "I come with orders to..." Skrit!!

A line appeared on the floor board right in-front of his toes. From behind Sola, Chora stepped out a blade in his hand.

"I'm not usually one for warnings, so consider this your final one, step back or we'll make sure you drag your body by your teeth like the lady so aptly described before." He stated lazily.

"Ha! You and what army?" The officer said cockily while his men organized themselves behind him.

At this sight Chora smirked, "Guys, they want to take away Sola." His voice was calm but it reverberated through the whole floor and into the ears of everyone there.

Suddenly, everyone took out their weapons, from swords to spears. Even the drunk rose from their black outs like the dead coming back to life, spewing incomprehensible slurs and saliva from their mouths at the uniformed officers.

"Audacious!, you dare obstruct Dracas army orders!?" One of the officers shouted.

An disheveled old man with more missing teeth than those intact stepped forward, "Boy, we've been killing s#%t like you before it was called the Dracas army."

Before the other party could reply a loud crack! Was heard, turning towards the source of the noise all of them saw Myr with a scimitar that had cut all the way through the counter. The old men smiled thinking the officers were going to get it.

"Ile!" Myr screamed at the one who just spoke, shocking them all. "What did I tell you about using that kind of language in front Sola!"

"Umm... but you do it ..." before he finished his words another crack! rang out as Myr pulled her scimitar out as if it was stuck in bread instead of a wooden counter. Brandishing it over her shoulder, daring him to continue his words.

Ile looked to Sola instead, "Sola, please tell Myr to put down the big sword..." to which Sola nodded, "Aunty I thought you said we weren't having any fights?"

"Oh! No my dear, I wasn't fighting, this is just umm.. Exercise! Yes Exercise" she lifted the Scimitar over her head and brought it up and down as if it were a dumbell at the gym. As she did so she shot Ile to dirty look which wasn't missed by Sola, "Aunty!" Her cheeks inflated and turned red like two small apples.

"Sorry sorry." Myr put down the scimitar to Sola's approval.

The officers became even more confused, was this really even more important than what they were doing just before!?

"Chora, why don't you have Sola help you in that thing you were doing just now... I'm sure she'll be a good assistant." Myr suddenly said, remembering what was going on.

"What thing, I don't have a... Oh! Right!! That thing!!" Chora finally understood what she meant and dragged Sola away.

Myr as well as all the other veterans turned their attention back to the officers. Just as she was about to speak the door opened. An officer stepped into the bar as the orders saluted him. "What's going on? Why's it taking so long to capture a little girl?" He spoke firmly at his subordinates.

The one who'd been leading the group before bowed before explaining, "Commander, these people are obstructing our activities, we had already spotted her but under her commands she was taken away to the back." He pointed at Myr.

The commander walked up to Myr, veins bulging on his forehead.

"Who do you think you are!?" He shouted, he didn't want to have to spend so much time at such a musty place.

"Who do YOU think YOU are!?" Myr said with even more gusto tapping him on the chest with her finger as she spoke.

He was speechless at the moment, nobody had ever dared to step up to him after he put on the uniform. He would never even expect the nobles to treat him that way and yet here he was facing a robust lady who didn't give a d#%n who he was.
