Stop crying over every little thing

Hey author, i understand that it's difficult to write a story about a series, but we're at chapter 34 now and we don't even know what the Mc's goals are and how he wants to achieve them. We get too little information, for example which mission he received for which he felt it necessary to risk his life or whether the hp he used for the potion is gone permanently or only temporarily.I feel like I'm getting a synopsis of a story and not the story itself.But it's a good story if you don factor in the above.Sorry for my bad english.
