Aside from the fact that I think the author will go the harem route, did you know that Lois Lane in the current comics has all the powers of a Kryptonian? Obviously choosing someone with a similar life expectancy is preferable, however this only applies if said life expectancy cannot be increased, something that is possible considering only the DC-verse, adding the Marvel-verse it is not even difficult to achieve such a goal.

Mc has access to Kryptonian technology in a world of Marvel and DC united, creating something that grants immortality to a human is just a matter of will for him. I don't care if he ends up with Harleen or not but basing the decision on life expectancy is not a good choice.
